Dr. Manoj Shirodkar, MD

Dr. Shirodkar asked so many questions, and was very thorough, unlike any other doctor I’ve been to before. He actually believed me, and didn’t dismiss my issues. I’ve never had a doctor actually take me seriously and care before, so it was a pleasant surprise to have one of the first doc appointments of my life that wasn’t a waste of my time. He also has good bedside manner and is friendly so it’s easy to be forthcoming with him.

Absolutely the worst doctor I have ever seen, DO NOT SEE THIS MAN! He does not listen to patients during appointments, and then goes in his notes and makes things up that are completely inaccurate. Of all the information he typed up from our 2 office visits, approximately 60-70% of it was completely false. No wonder I am not being treated accurately! I literally cried in his office because I am so unable to eat that I am in ketosis, have severe brain fog, can barely function, and he suggested I see a nutritionist - how is that going to help when I can't eat anything?! This doctor is clearly in it for the paycheck, not the patients. I have seen dozens of doctors in my life and I have never been mistreated like this.

Initially, when I met this physician, I was optimistic he seemed very kind and caring. He became very irritated and frustrated when I wasn’t “following his orders”, and getting an unnecessary test, which would lead him to try “prove” his theory about my symptoms so he could insist on my taking strong, unnecessary medications for my condition. Dr. Shirodkar never once listened to anything that I had to say. It was all of his theory and his plan, never once considering how I felt and my medical history. I was so upset by our last appointment where he continued to lecture me about 15 times to get a test, that I felt he was bullying me into getting a test. Good doctors listen to their patients and don’t dictate to them but work collaboratively as a team. This doctor clearly lacks those skills. Patients don’t just “get better” and every patient is unique, he doesn’t see that. I think this doctor should try to understand and listen to his patients.

This man is a genius and saved my love. One of the best doctor's I've ever known.
