Talk about someone who could NOT be bothered... I met with Dr. Kaur after a referral to BCM by my GI at Kelsey-Seybold for a second opinion, and she seemed incredibly bored and to have little compassion our entire visit. Doctors are supposed to answer patients questions (especially when the questions are regarding a chronic illness, ie, very difficult to understand/interpret!) but Dr. Kaur actually scolded me for doing so!! You would think doctors appreciate when patients are committed to being knowledgeable about their illnesses— it takes a team to achieve remission and knowledge is power! Disappointed by my experience. But know anyone can have a bad day.

I’ve been seeing Dr Kaur since 2013 after another doctor told me he could no longer handle my UC case. She gave me hope and explains options and plans. Her face is one of comfort to me now that I’ve gone from being terribly sick to relatively well. I’ve since moved from Houston but drive back twice a year to see her. I recommend her to every GI/IBD patient that I meet.

Dr. Kaur is a specialist given she has earned her title as being so. However, with the treatment I received medically from her, I don't think so. The 6-8 months I've been in her care for Crohns & Colitis with severe symptoms located in the rectum, she never examined me not even once. She only went by history from my previous GI. I had a painful hemmroid, went in to see her still no exam, only recommendations of meds to by over the counter & saying it takes time. I ended up in ER. Never again.
