Dr. G and PA Rebecca James are great, but ... there is a lot of gossip among the admin staff, the lab and MD assistants about patients. If one is offended by a patient they spread it around. It's cultural. Dr. G has no objective, professional info about patience experiences, just what they tell him and the 3.2/5.0 and comments on review sites like this.

I had the worst experience today at this office. Although I was only there to give blood for my annual appointment, I was forced to listen to a political commentator that Makes my heart rate rise. It doesn’t seem very considerate of Dr. Galcerin, Especially if he cares about our ( his patients)health. Please know I don’t want to hear any politics, mine or otherwise, when going to the doctor.

Dr. Galceran is a very good doctor. Thorough. Pleasant demeanor. Knows his stuff. He is my PCP. I have been to see him every four months over the last two years and I like the fact that he will listen to me and discuss my concerns. He is perfect for a thinking patient. A keeper.

I've been with them about7 years, office staff changes often but has NOTHINGVTO DO WITH MY FAVORITE DR. IN THE WORLD!! HUS O.A. REBECAH JAMES!!! IF SHE GOES. I GO!!! My husband and I ADORE HER. IVE been healthier than EVER SEEING HER!!!She has motivated my life. She's been a dr, a counselor and more! She always takes time for ALL of your issues. REBEKAH JAMES IS THE BEST DR. EVER! She is SW INTERNAL MED. WE LOVE HER FOR LIFE!!!

They didn't state on their out going phone message on New Years Eve they were not working so I stayed on hold 3 times and once for over 40 minutes since getting through to anyone using their phone system is always painful DUE TO LONG WAITS.

A great physician! Very thorough and caring. This practice runs an excellent ON TIME operation. Dr Galceran is all business and right to the point! Do what he prescribes and follow his advice and stay on top of your health. His office staff and nurse as well as his PA are excellent as well. Love this group!

I have been a patient of Southwest Internal Medicine for 15+ yrs. Although their Doctors and PAs are ok, their front office staff is probably one of the worst, not patient friendly at all. Their front office and practice manager are extremely rude. Their billing is never correct. When asking about it, they refer you to their billing department who refers you back to the practice or insurance, and then informs you that they are no longer working with Southwest Internal Medicine.

Since I have been going to chiropractors for years for lower back pain, I asked for a referral and was refused and told to go see my orthopedic doctor. Says his policy is to not refer to chiropractors. He is probably in the group of "traditional doctors" that think chiropractors don't qualify as doctors.
