Compassionate physician
Doctor Gonchar was my physician for seventeen years. During that nearly two decade period, Dr. Gonchar was attentive, considerate, respectful, and sympathetic. He communicated clearly about test results and options for treatment, if necessary. When I presented him with my symptoms and self-diagnoses, he listened patiently, contrasted his medical knowledge with my lay-opinion, and negotiated a path forward with me gracefully. I felt confident in his approach to medicine and appreciated his care throughout the entirety of our physician-client relationship. If you're reading this, thank you, Doctor Gonchar.

He is brusque and unempathetic. Makes it clear he doesn't like treating my condition. Doesn't remember anything I told him at previous appointment, and doesn't listen well. After waiting a long time to see him, I left feeling unheard and not well treated at all. He's not even a nice guy.

Dr Gonchar has been my physician for 10+ years. He is attentive, thorough, and has good judgement about how to deal with the increasing aches and pains I feel as I’ve gotten older. It feels very good to know that if I had a real emergency, I would have a competent, concerned expert looking after me.
