Dr Shiman is an excellent physician. He listened, asked probing questions and answered in easily understood language. He is extremely competent, caring and knowledgeable. His staff is friendly and made every attempt to make me comfortable. I strongly recommend Dr Shiman.

Professional, knowledge, courteous care.
I’ve been using Dr. Shiman since moving to Florida, fifteen years ago. He was my mother’s doctor, as well as my husband’s doctor.

Dr. SHIMAN treats me as if I was a family member. He is caring and up to date on the latest. Best of all, he is an alarmist and did not send me specialists for tests, ct scans or MRIs. However, if he has a legitimate concern I am confident that he would suggest the proper course of treatment . I have no problem with the office staff. Allison is very friendly and efficient.

I am extremely disappointed with Dr Shiman's office. I am an existing patient and my parents have been his patients for many, many years.
As of this morning I will no longer visit his office.
I have tried three times to get my son into his office as a new patient. He comes home from grad school pretty infrequently and THREE TIMES they have turned me away, telling me they have no availability for a new patient.
Are they serious? With a weeks notice you can't see him?
Extremely unaccommodating.

Dr. Shiman is an excellent doctor but his staff is horrible. They rarely answer the phone and when you finally speak to them they are rude and so uncaring. I have been a patient for a few years because I really do like Dr. Shiman it's a shame that I will probably see another doctor because of how awful his staff is.
