Dr. Marc Weiss, MD

Dr Weiss is exceptional. My teenage son had a consult on a Sunday at Kaiser! It was only Dr. Weiss and a male nurse in the office getting everything done efficiently, timely, and smoothly. Dr. Weiss had take. The time to not only read the referral but also review my sons records because he had asked some questions about a procedure done at the age of 4 and a gf ad some questions he would have only known to ask if he read through previous office visits. I was blown away at the time he took to prepare. He answered all my questions and I did not feel rushed. He seems to love his work and his patients. I chose to wait 7 months for the best timing for my son to have his surgery with Dr. Weiss. I know he is in the best hands!

Throughout my years at Kaiser I have learned to take previous reviews with a grain of salt and walk in with a neutral mindset. Dr. Weiss walked in smiling and asked how I was. It was clear he had read through my file beforehand because seemed very knowledgeable about my conditions and he was very friendly. He asked about my job and schooling, definitely put me at ease. He answered all of my questions, gave me a brief overview of my surgery process and approved me quickly for it. If you have the opportunity to see Dr. Weiss, take it. He is the chief of surgery in his department for a reason.

I never thought I'd give any doctor a negative review, but I just had a visit with this... I'll say "person" because I don't want to curse... and I'm still trembling. He had previously "diagnosed" me with TMJ, when I tried to ask him about my recurring ear pain that happens now twice a week and lasts for hours, and mention additional symptoms, he didn't even want to listen to me. He kept interrupting me and scolding me like I'm a child with "do you want a consultation or an operation, you chose, you can have one or the other". Totally dumbfounded and frustrated I told him I chose the operation. He left. When the nurse came back she informed me that the doctor is NOT coming back. So I guess I've waited for this doctor visit for weeks just so that he can tell me he is too busy to consult, dangled a surgery like a carrot on the stick and sent me packing. If you have an option of chosing a doctor, say what I did: "anyone except Weiss".

I'm not even sure what to say about Dr. Weiss. He was and is great! I would trust him with anyone of my family members. He takes time with you, explains things, makes sure you're comfortable. Just amazing I didn't meet him till my surgery but HE called me himself 2-3 times before it to make sure I was okay with everything. Going back in the 25th and I'm not worried about the actual surgery or care just the results after., hoping no more cancer. Thank You Dr. Weiss

It would be like Heaven, if all doctors were like Dr. Weiss and my primary doctor! Thank you for your professionalism, detail and wisdom regarding my recent doctor's visit.
