Would not visit again
This was an exceptionally bad appointment. I'm honestly stunned at how poorly it went for just an annual visit. I immediately cancelled my follow up with her a found a new doctor. She did not address any of my questions, kept making things up about my medical history in front of me (even with me correcting her), confused herself, then told me some incorrect information. She then tried to schedule me for something that was completely unnecessary, despite me telling her no multiple times. I would not trust her to provide care to my family members.

This is my third visit. She is both very compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. She asks for your feedback on treatment plans and is open minded to work with a patient to customize what will be most successful. She never appears rushed. Great bedside manner and respectful. I am a senior, so lots of experience with drs-she is outstanding.

Dr Recavarren Abarca is a superb and caring doctor and a great person. She will always listen carefully to me about my symptoms; then proposes and discusses with me the different options of treatment or changes in life style. My wife and I will keep her as our primary doctor as long as we are in Houston area. I will recommend her to my friends and workmates

She is very personable and knowledgeable. She was my husband's doctor and then I switched over to her care.She was on point with my husband when he had his heart attack and then fluid on his lungs. We are very confident with her abilities and recommend her to everyone. She breaks down everything in layman's terms. The staff is friendly and helpful.
