My children are both adopted and patients of Dr. F. One of my children has significant medical issues complicated by being adopted internationally (no information about family history). Dr Ferretti has not only helped me navigate the medical system, but has also called me to check on ME (Mom) and is always there when we need him. I can't say enough good things about him. He's a good person, a good Dr and an exceptional resource for a parent to have.

My husband brought my daughter to see Dr Ferretti due to a fever and vomiting for over a week. He brushed it off - didn’t have her change to be checked. Told my husband it was just a virus and it would pass. I got out of work and brought her to the urgent care where they did xrays and were very thorough and say that the reason she was vomiting because she was severely constipated and her bowels were so swollen they were hitting her lungs! That’s why she wouldn’t keep a thing down! The fever was due to a sever UTI she also had!!! The urgent care physician stated that if I didn’t bring her in - she could have perforated her bowels and died. Needless to say, couldn’t sign the release of records quicker to leave. Two to three weeks later, I get a call from the office later asking me why I was leaving...it took 2-3 weeks for someone to care. I never received a call regarding her horrible test results or to follow up on her urgent care visit - all of which I know were faxed over.

Love East Bay Pediatrics of Barrington! My son had a thumb injury right before a big match mid season. I called at 4:55 on a Friday and they said come on in!! They stayed open and waited for my son! He was sent for an x-Ray that night and we got a call the next morning thankfully that it was fine just needed to rest for a couple days! Dr. Feretti told us where to go for a brace & even called over to make sure the medical supply had it in stock!! My son was back in business within a couple days!

My children have been coming to this practice since birth and typically see Dr. Ferretti. He is very informative and really knows what he’s talking about. He is great with all my kids especially my oldest who has special needs!

First he was running an hour behind and came in the room and my daughter is 20 months old and going through a phase where she is intimidated by the doctor, so she cries, he shhhhhed her very rudely and was a little aggressive. He impolitely told me to move and was just very rude and condescending. I will never go back and do not recommend a Dr. that acts like he could care less and your 20 month old child isn't worth his time. I honestly do not know how he has patients that remain with him.

We have had two poor experiences with this Dr. He is auite insensitive to our son's feat of shots, and the clinicistakemly gave him his 2nd H P V too soon, so he needed a 3rd! We are going elsewhere for compassionate care.

I love Dr. Ferretti. He explains things very thoroughly and is great with my 3 children; he also explains things to them as well, in a way they can understand.

I took my son in due to a stomach bug & he saw this dr instead of his regular dr. He was not only cocky know-it-all, but he called both me & my child fat. Yes, I'm not skinny, but really? You're in the habit of telling parents they're fat? As for my child, he's not at all fat. Never will I return.
