Unprofessional and unable to adequately do hisjob
My daughter was diagnosed with significant femoral nerve damage (three months after our appointment here at another clinic) that included a leg movement that this ignorant Dr. insinuated she was faking within minutes of meeting her and having a mistakingly vague referral. I'm so unimpressed in the lack of emotional intelligence of this physician as well as his arrogance and overall lack of ability to adequately perform his job. It is dangerous psychologically and physically to have physicians practicing and behaving this way. So no she wasn't faking in any shape or form and how sad that you make surgically traumatized children distrust the medical system even further just because you are too arrogant to admit you don't understand something. This doctor shouldn't be practicing.

He wanted to talk more than let me talk
Even though three neurologist and the Portland seizure center said I’m having seizures this guy was like no not seizures even though I am having focal seizures. Not professional not worth your time. Rude. Does not listen. Would only suggest this guy to my worse enemy

Unprofessional and unable to adequately do his job
Dr. Wheeler behaves like a toddler when met with any sort of opposition. He is unwilling to take feedback from other medical professionals or to run any test to explain my husband’s seizures. He has wasted our money and precious time. Now we are on to the next neurologist who hopefully do their job. Marcus Wheeler is a waste of your time and money!!

A Ghost
Is he treating my seizing daughter? I wouldn't know. After weeks in the hospital we never met him. He was to call me to discuss her treatment but couldn't be bothered.

Doc Wheeler is wonderful!
As parents of a child with epilepsy, we have had nothing but wonderful visits with Dr. Wheeler. His appointments are easy to get and his staff in the remote location is wonderful (I cannot comment on the Kalispell location). He explains things well, is concerned, and always gets back to us in a day or less. We are very grateful and very pleased with him. Our experience has been second to none. My son was a former patient of a supposed amazing doc and it was the WORST--Never received calls back, his staff was horrible, they were extremely condescending. The switch to Dr. Wheeler was exceptional and four years later we are still very happy with him.

wow from setting up an appointment the staff is rude and you cant ask questions. After all, i know nothing and they know everything. I should have realized that! Just come in and let us tell you what is wrong with your son. dont ask questions, just accept everything we tell you. This from a doctor with such a low rating on all sites?

Drove 4.5 hrs in the Winter only to get 10 minutes of his time after waiting months for an appt. He assumed without really reading the records that my son's juvenile arthritis diagnosis was psychosomatic and dismissed the videos we showed him pertaining to the addition concerns we had that might have been neurological per his reg ped doctor. He offered no other advice and really dismissed it all. My son was diagnosed via visual xrays and bloodwork through two Rheumo dr's, one local and one in Seattle. At the end of the day it was found to be a toxicity poisoning from the arthritis meds. Switched meds and it eventually got resolved. Thank goodness for the other peds doctor who took the time to determine the issue. We left there upset and without answers we really needed. A true waste of time. Sad that this happened.

When we first saw Dr. Wheeler for our son's severe POTS/dysautonomia condition that put him in a wheelchair, he was encouraging and eager to help him however he could. However, when we returned for the second visit with no improvement to our son's health, he told us it was our son's fault for the lack of improvement and that it was a psychological issue. He said we needed to get him into a psychologist to see improvement. We were beyond angry. We feel that in his lack of knowledge of the diagnos

I recently took my daughter to Dr. Wheeler and have never had a more horrible experience. I drove two hours and took the day off of work and he had no interest in treating her or in listening. Even worse, there was a child in his waiting room who had just suffered a seizure. The mother was in a panic and his staff could not have been more rude. She asked for a wheel chair and she literally had to put him in and take him outside to her car to take his vitals. They offered NO HELP!

Dr.Wheeler has shown us nothing but extremely horrible care for my 1 year old daughter. He was very disconnected and non responsive with her medical care. Every time my daughter went into the hospital, he was notified, yet he was no where to be found and never returned calls. My daughter has had a few procedures done and did not get any communication with her doctor. Dr. Wheeler, refused to see my daughter at her last doctors appointment, when he said we were "10 minutes late for her appointment"

Our family met Dr. Wheeler after having several difficult appointments with another neurologist. I was felt cautious and protective. Within a few minutes of our first appointment I was able to let my guard down and watch him interact with my son. I appreciated that he brought in a note book, listened to what my sons history was, and respected my decisions for my sons treatments. I highly recommend Dr. Wheeler. He is personable, kind and considerate of the family as a whole.
