I had only one session with her and that's all I needed! she told me I do not have adhd because I have gotten good grades in school (although it has been diagnosed my many other health professionals that have seen me for awhile). She victim blamed be for my sexual assault. She didn't read over my chart at all. She claimed that I have either OCD or Bipolar (Which in no way makes sense!). Might I also add... I am a health professional myself and this lady is flat out HORRIBLE. I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. She is going to be reported for her unethical treatment, "diagnosis", and behavior. Not okay. DO NOT GO TO THIS LADY

I saw Dr. Foroutan to receive a psychiatric evaluation for my recently diagnosed ADHD and panic disorder by my current therapist, which has been very debilitating. Within less than 10 min of my first appointment, I was told that I could not have ADHD because of my high school and college GPA, as well as because of where I did my undergraduate degree. I do not see how this is relevant to my medical diagnosis or the current distress I have been experiencing. It was very invalidating and upsetting to not only be personally dismissed, but also the diagnosis of my therapist. I was also told I was "high strung", what sort of medical professional with any sort of code of ethics IN THE FIELD OF MENTAL HEALTH would in their professional capacity consider this an appropriate thing to say to a patient. I hung up on my telehealth appointment and I would never recommend her to anyone and suggest she be evaluated for continued employment.

Due to a recent change in insurance I was referred to Dr. Foroutan. When I say this is the worst experience I’ve ever had that would be an understatement. I went for medication management for mild depression and since I am pregnant she could not prescribe me my normal medications. I understood this and said I would rather tough it out for a few months then begin a new trial and error process of medications that can last years. She then tells me that because I am not married I am living in sin and if I don’t get on the medication that she wants me on immediately that my depression will become so severe that there’s a good chance I will commit infantcide when I have my baby. I was kind and dismissed her verbal insults throughout our whole session but at that point I just walked out of the office. I’ve never had such an unpleasant, judgmental, and traumatizing experience in all of my life. Do not seek treatment here.

Do I really have to give her any stars at all? I saw her when I was first diagnosed with type one bipolar disorder over three years ago. She told me I couldn't achieve my career goals and would be lucky if I could even manage to graduate. Because I was "a very sick young lady" Well, I did graduate and now I'm a registered nurse, fully functioning, and a mom. No thanks to her.

Dr. Foroutan turned me off to the field of psychiatry completely. She belittled me, mocked me, and basically told me my life choices were why I was having problems (despite also diagnosing me with 7 disorders within 15 minutes of meeting me). Overall I was extremely UNSATISFIED; she was unprofessional and showed no compassion or empathy, something required in any medical field in my opinion. Will never return and will NEVER recommend.

Dr. Foroutan is the worst doctor I have been to. Being in the medical field she displays unprofessional behavior where she mocks or undermines her patients and staff. She is also very difficult to reach with questions or refill requests. She is terrible about calling back when you leave a message for her. She also charges over $200 (billed as an hour appt) for a check-in visit that lasts 5min. She also states she never puts her pt. into collection but your debt to her is astronomical.

I've been seeing Dr. Foroutan for over a year now. She is a wonderful and caring doctor who takes the time to listen to my needs as a patient. She explained to me in depth about my disease and the benefits of the medications I have been taking. She helped me return to my life, my family and my job. I have seen a tremendous difference in myself from the time I started treatment to how I am now after a year of seeing Dr. Foroutan.

Dr. Foroutan is a horrible doctor! Whatever I discussed with her she took to opposing view. Never once did she show me compassion, support, or try to understand what I was feeling. She never validated my feelings. Instead she blamed me and said I was over reacting and should get over it. She also talk to me about her other patients! She's controlling, self centered, and stubborn! She is right and everyone else is wrong! She would compare how I feel with how she would feel in the same situation

DR Foroutan has treated my son for 4 years and he is doing very well at school. I saw him go from a bitter difficult child to a happy adolescent which he is. Very friendly and dedicated team. Nice Office!

Dr Foroutan is great! I almost lost my job and she worked with my employer to prevent that. That gave me time to get better. Now I feel better and am back at work. Thank you Bryant! Thank you Dr Foroutan!

Dr.Foroutan is very rude. She is also very difficult to reach with questions or refill requests. She is terrible about calling back when you leave a message for her. Also her charges are bogus. She charges me over 200$ (billed as an hour psychotherapy appt) for a check-in visit that lasts all of 5mins and consists of her asking how are you? She requires this every three months and refuses to authorize my prescription refills otherwise. She is a terrible doctor and I would not recommend her!
