Condesending and Dismissive
I found her to be dismissive to patient concerns. Did not listen effectively, and refused to give a referral to cardiology unless I violated a family members HIPPA rights to show proof of a congenital heart defect. Refused to listen and take the notes in an effective manner, and her solution was to evangelize a vegan diet and 'sunshine' as a cure-all. Bad bedside manner, and showed up late for the appointment.

if i could give zero stars i would. pushed a vegan agenda even after i said i had severe eating restrictions due to texture aversions; also a transphobe who tried to claim it was my depression that made me trans and doesn't even know statistics she was speaking about, claiming that HRT might be damaging to mental health and talking over me when i told her that according to studies, HRT reduces suicide rates in trans people by ~50%. she should lose her license.

Waste of time, Vegan Agenda
I do Olympic weightlifting 3 days a week, and workout 6 days a week. I require a high protein diet, and am bigger than most women. I scheduled an appointment to establish care, and schedule routine, and diagnostic testing. I have carpal tunnel so bad I wake up all night in pain, and hands that are asleep. She went on to fat shame and lecture me for 20 mins about how all my problems would disappear if I followed a vegan diet. She asked zero questions about my lifestyle goals. I waited almost 2 months for an appointment, and now I have to find someone else. I wish I had read these reviews prior to seeing her.

Irresponsible Doctor
I have had several visits that were not good. My chief complaint is that she goes on vacation several times a year with no notice. I am left not knowing the results of urgent lab tests. My texts or phone messages are not answered. This has happened several times. She has little regard for her patients. Her main interest is a vegan diet for everyone.

Vegan or Bust
I am so glad to have found these other reviews. I felt like an absolute crazy person when I went in for repetitive sciatic back pain and was pushed to go on a vegan diet (which she did before at another visit). I’m about 20 pounds overweight but follow a varied diet and exercise - which she’d know if she would have bothered to ask. I was so frustrated by the lack of care options I embarrassed myself by crying in the office. I felt so dismissed and helpless. I should have just walked out when she brought up a vegan diet again. I’ve never felt so helpless in regards to getting the care I need. I’ll be switching primaries.

The worst
I’ve seen her twice now, and both times she has talked over me about her own agenda and refused to send me to the specialists I came to her for. Riverside medical clinic keeps her, it only makes them look bad. I don’t recommend RMC, but if you must go there, you’ll want to choose another PCP.

Dr.Song is terrible. Talks down to you is rude. Always pushes her vegan diet. Does not explain things.I don’t think she likes me. Every time I leave after an appointment I’m depressed and feel like crap. She is very negative. I don’t see her anymore

It warms my heart to see other negative reviews about this god awful Doctor, I started to feel like she had something against me. I left her care in worse condition than I came and in awful spirits. If I could leave zero stars I would. She is very unhelpful, I am unsure how she made it so far in her profession. She misdiagnosed me without running any tests and gave me a prescription I did not need not once but twice. She never bothered to get to know me or my patient history and was not thorough in her practice at all.

Dr. Song misdiagnosed my mom and prescribed unnecessary antibiotics for several weeks, without ever doing any testing. The overuse of the medication caused c diff. When the c diff results came back, the dr never even called my mom-just left a note on the medical website. I went with my mom to one of the visits and Dr. Song wouldn’t even look at me or acknowledge my presence in the room, even when I spoke. Terrible, terrible doctor.

Dr. Song has poor bedside manners in addition to making me feel like crap every time I left her office. For every aliment I had her remedy was always "go vegan." I am about 10-15 pounds over my BMI and she constantly harassed me about losing weight, going vegan, and eating habits. Her front office nurse is nice but her assistant that takes your BP and gets you set up is so rude and unwelcoming. She seems miserable. Dr. Song often called in sick, took vacation days, and was hard to get a hold of.

I went for a physical and disliked my experience. Dr. Song spoke to me in a condescending tone, seemed skeptical about symptoms I had been feeling, cut me off when I was speaking, and lacked compassion. I felt like I was being interrogated rather than cared for. Leaving the appointment left me so upset that I never returned to do blood work. Visiting her was the final straw in my decision to switch healthcare providers.

Dr. Song is a poor listener, it seems she likes to lecture and doesn't believe what you say. Last appointment I listenedd to her wannabe Ted Talk about becoming a vegetarian to lose weight. She forgot to prescribe some of the medications to the pharmacy and I had to call to remind her about it. She is poor about prescribing lifelong ongoing meds when they run out it takes multiple times for the pharmacy to get her approval. I don't feel like I'm ever heard when I go see her.

Dr Song does not want to listen to your health concerns. I had several issues I needed to discuss with her at my last visit and she would not let me talk and just lectured me about my weight the whole time. I am about 20 lbs overweight and told her I am on a diet and I do work out, but she just told me the same stuff I already know and practice. I have been seing her for about a year and half and every visit is the same. She talks down at you. I am switching primary care doctors.

She doesn't seem to like what she does, she doesn't follow up with her patients. I had several lab test done and never heard from her. I scheduled an appointment with her so we can discuss the results and she just didn't bother to explain anything at all. She showed no interest on my health concerns or my symptoms. I could clearly see that she was getting upset every time I asked a question. I definitely do not recommend her to my family or anybody. Very disappointed with her service.
