I worked for Dr. Margherita Bass and all I can say is STAY AWAY. She’s passionate and appears to care for her patients; however, her orders were often questionable and inconsistent. Truly, the care she gives patients depends on her MOOD that day. Her bedside manner is subpar and she often overlooks suggestions from nurses and staff, which can be problematic for the treatment of patients. In my observation, she orders too many, unnecessary tests (unnecessarily billing the patient). That doesn’t sit right with me. I know she has had problems with previous facilities she has worked in and prior staff members have all complained of the aforementioned. Please do your research and trust your instinct with this doctor… Not all doctors are cut from the same cloth. If you have seen her in the past, check your bill with a fined toothed comb and alert your insurance company immediately if anything seems off. Do not hesitate to seek a second opinion, rather than blindly trusting Dr. Bass.
