Dr. Margarita Eydelman, MD

Dr. Eydelman is the best psychiatrist I've worked with (three others who were quite good). I was assigned to her after my nurse practitioner retired. She of course reviewed my record but took the time to hear my history, really assess where I was now in terms of living with depression, and where I hoped to be some day. No one had ever asked me that before. She added a diagnosis that clarified a lot for me and works constantly to make sure my medications are working for me--moving me toward feeling better. She is not my therapist, however, I feel that she teaches me great strategies and gives me simple tips for giving me a lift and propelling me forward. She is an essential part of my wellness team.

I've been seeing Dr. Eydelman for several years now. She is one of the most compassionate caregivers I've had the pleasure of working with. I have a complicated history with chronic illness and past depressions. She treats me as a unique individual, respects and understands the sensitivity of my body, and works with me on the best care plan for my greatest health. I cannot recommend her enough. She is smart, dedicated, and creates a warm and safe environment for my highest healing.

Very unpleasant. She is very brusque, reads from her prescribed list of questions. She was good with changing my meds, which I appreciate, but not good interpersonal skills
