Dr. Amos changed my life
I've had gyno issues my whole adult life, with multiple surgeries but few answers. Dr. Amos not only listened to me, offered me options, was understanding, and kind. When I said I couldn't do it anymore and wanted a hysterectomy she agreed, and changed my life. I have felt better under her care than I have ever felt before.

My first of 2 encounters w/ Dr. Amos was when she delivered my 1st child. She gave me an episiotomy w/out saying anything to me, my husband or Doula. My Doula was horrified. My 2nd encounter was when I was @37 weeks with my 2nd. My doctor was delivering someone else & I agreed to see Dr. Amos for my appt. As soon as I finished telling her that I wanted the baby to stay inside for as long as possible, she asked if I wanted her to sweep my membranes. I said No! And repeated my statement. She asked if I wanted to be checked for dilation & I agreed. She went to check & it hurt so much I tried to crawl up the table away from her & I loudly said Oww! She rolled away & told me that I wouldn’t need my next appt. w/ my doctor. I was not dilated, but soft. I had been checked w/ my 1st. It did not hurt. I had my membranes swept with my first. It hurt. My water broke 2 days later. Dr Amos was on call that weekend. Best case she didn’t listen. Worst case she induced me w/out my consent.

Dr. Maeder is great. She's quick at getting back to me when I have a question. She is easy going and helps lower anxiety during pregnancy and other procedures. She's knowledgeable and willing to answer any and all questions. She's busy so occasionally appointments can feel rushed but I think if you have more questions or concerns she will take the time necessary. I have already recommended her to several people.
