Dr Fernandez saw my elderly mother on an urgent visit for sudden loss of vision. She was very caring and professional and explained everything so that my mother was comforted. I originally saw Dr. Fernandez to seek a second opinion regarding a macular hole in my eye. While I was initially assigned to her, due to availability, I couldn't have been more fortunate in finding such a competent and caring doctor. Her patient demeanor is second to none, as she treats her patients with respect and fosters a true consultative approach, providing the patient with information and knowledge so that they can be an active participant in deciding the course of treatment that they wish to follow. She has a strong educational and practice background and is a true professional. As a result, I left my previous retina doctor and have made Dr. Fernandez my permanent retina specialist. I couldn't be more happy to have found such a great physician.
