Never on Time
I have no quarrels with Dr Frexes’ professional ability. My issue has always been the inefficiency in her office. I have never been seen on time. The wait is almost always at least an hour past the time I was scheduled. Bed side manner could be better

Horrible experience. We waited over 2 hours to see the doctor. The nurse greets us after 2 hours in the waiting room and seems very annoyed with US. Then she proceeds to ask a series of questions on a computer very aggressively. “Are your parents dead or alive?” Plugs away on the computer then a student comes in after and asks me all the same exact questions and writes them down on a piece of paper even though they’re all in the computer?!! And on the paperwork I filled out beforehand too. Ooof!! 2.5 hours later the doctor arrives. The whole experience was horrible and a waste of time. They need help with staff attitude, bedside manner and overall organization. What a mess.

THE BEST DOCTOR!!! Dr. Frexes is very intelligent and experienced in her specialties. She has bright eyes, nimble hands and most importantly a loving heart for her patients. She works hard and takes great care of us even during weekends. I am blessed to have Dr. Frexes as my doctor on a critical surgery. She saved my life. ^_^

This was the second time I drove a 5-hour round trip for a genetic test, that I was assured would be covered, only to find that I had to pay for the appointment (which was a handoff vial and paper, to take to the lab, where I paid for the blood draw out of pocket). Over a month later the remote testing lab called to tell me that I would have to pay for the test--they hadn't even begun work on it! Tired of paying something for nothing, so having nothing more to do with this doctor!

Dr. Frexes is top notch. Very professional and knowledgeable. Her office team is great as well. When you call her office you are greeted in a finding manner. Her PA and nurses are great too. All of the staff at St. Thomas were very friendly and caring. I hope I don't have to go back but if I had the need I know who I am choosing.

Dr. Frexes is a very knowledgeable surgeon. There is no one who understands breast cancer and melanoma (as well as other surgeries) as well as she does. She is very big on the "team" aspect of a care team. She works closely with other doctors when you have a cancer and calls them during your appointment if necessary. She even called me while she was on vacation! There is no other surgeon that I would trust more than her.

Excellent care and staff. Dr. Frexes is first rate, but I hope I never have to use her again. But if Melanoma resurfaces she is who I will call.
