Dr. Maria Gerber, MD

The worst ob/gyn in the practice. I would avoid her at all costs. Arrogant, condescending, no bedside manner, and poor clinical skills.

She is seriously the worst physician I know of, and I work in healthcare. My own baby’s face is permanently disfigured by her, and she has done even worse to others. I know of several stories of mothers and babies who were seriously harmed by her. If you love your baby, AVOID HER!!!

Very rude and dismissive. I would not recommend for anyone seeking prenatal care. Very disappointed that she is with UC HEALTH.

Over the last 7 years, Dr Gerber has been caring and knowledgeable for my OB visits and GYN check ups. She has a warm bedside manner and has always taken the time to answer questions and concerns.

Do not see her if you have a history of miscarriages. I had a missed miscarriage while I was seeing her. She was not sympathetic, nor did she even care what I was going through emotionally. This was my very first miscarriage, I didn't even get a phone call from her to make sure I was doing okay... She didn't give me any information or resources on dealing with this very emotional situation. I left the office feeling like they just didn't care, because I was no longer pregnant.

I had seen Dr Gerber for a few years and recently moved to a new state or I would still be seeing her. While I was a patient of Dr. Gerber I found her to be very knowledgeable, kind and patient. She would take the time to discuss any questions I had and I never felt she was rushing the conversation. At the same time, I never had to wait more than a few minutes after arriving for my appointment. I was very happy to find a doctor and office where the scheduling allowed for both of these things

I called UC Health OBGYN Department to speak with a doctor on call dr. Garber called back this doctor clearly does not need to be in practice she does not care about patients she speaks to patients very unprofessionally I have never experienced a doctor of this nature who suggest you self treat yourself and is not knowledgeable enough to be treating patients I will never return to this office. I will be contacting the hospital this dr is working for to speak with the medical director

If you want a just a routine check up, you may be okay going to her.,even that I am not so sure. But anything more than that, you may want to find another Dr. She said things that were not correct. 2 years later and 10 tests later, my problem was not solved. she had no suggestion to make. I want a Dr that keeps up with continuing education with the latest. I felt in the end I was left on my own, so I went and found a more capable and informed Dr. This is my first time that I have not liked a dr.
