Considering I was 15 minutes late, I was seen within 15-20 minutes of checking in. The nurses are very nice, and Dr.Vela is amazing. She is a kind, caring doctor and takes the time to discuss and explain health issues. If you have a health concern, she will take her time to understand, discuss and explain the diagnosis and what the care procedure is. Amazing doctor, we need more doctors like her.

Great! I did not have a full understanding of diabetes and its repercussions after all the doctors I've been thru until I tried Dr. Vela who took the time and patience to make me understand and help me change my lifestyle accordingly.

Fabulous. I was an opioid addict moving from one clinic to another bullying doctors to give me the medications I "needed" until I got to who Dr. Vela straightened me out and gave me the medications I needed.

If I could give Dr. Vela negative stars, I would. I've seen her several times and this past time will be the last. She should be ashamed of her bedside manner, she doesn't believe her patients know themselves best, every time I've seen her she spent less than 2 minutes with me, and she prescribed me a medicine, that, not only didn't help, when I went to a see a specialist for that issue, said she prescribed a harmful medicine for what was actually going on. AVOID at ALL COSTS!

Not satisfied. She ordered medicines without explaining why it should be taken by the patient and not giving attention to medication history. Also requested a fax of blood test result was not taken seriously, it's been a week and have not heard a word from the office.
