Dr. Maria Wasique, MD

Dr. Wasique is a wonderful doctor. She is a kind and considerate person. Most recently, Julie had unusual symptoms of a possible neurological nature. Dr. Wasique listened carefully and prescribed a medication that provided some relief from the symptoms. Access to a neurologist as a new patient can take months. She followed up by ordering tests of the head and neck that ruled out potentially life threatening conditions. She met with us several times until we finally were able to see a neurologist. Because of the tests Dr. Wasique had ordered, we had a large amount of data, and the neurologist confirmed no life threatening condition. We are pursuing further diagnostic work with this neurologist to determine the cause of the symptoms and possible treatments. Dr. Wasique went out of her way to help, for which we are very appreciative.

I switched from my old primary care Dr. when I moved to Ashburn. I was not disappointed. She works with you about your health and makes appropriate suggestions and puts you at ease. She spends a lot of time with you and always asks if you have additional questions. The receptionist is also very kind and professional. I highly recommend this Physician.

Great family doctor!! She is very friendly, and always takes the time to listen to you and talk to you about your health. You never feel rushed with her, and you hardly ever have to wait in the lobby before your appointment, it is usually straight back to the examination rooms. Your are definitely not just a number. Also the staff is very friendly and it is very easy to make appointments.
