I am so glad to have Dr. Whitney as my ophthalmologist. She is one of the most compassionate and caring doctors I have ever met. I was so impressed on my first and subsequent visits as to how knowledgable she is, and yet humble. She takes the time to listen to the patient and then fully explains any conditions and treatment options. I have been diagnosed with Sjogren's syndrome, which causes very dry eyes. It was so refreshing to find that Dr. Whitney is very familiar with the condition. I am now using eye drops made from my own plasma and my eyes have never felt better. Thank you Dr. Whitney!

Awful experience. Unorganized office and really nasty and arrogant patient receptionist. Since front desk is the patient's first exposure to the doctor, they should always be polite and courteous, especially to new patients. Not the case here, where the lady was short, brupt and nasty because we were 5 minutes late for appt. So, we left and will never return again. Glad we saw how they treat patients on first visit, so never come back again. Recommend you find a much more compassionate eye doctor.

Dr. Teresa Whitney performed cataract surgery on both my left and right eyes in August 2020, and she did an absolutely AWESOME job! Like many, I was terrified of the procedure, and had deferred it for many years, until I was nearly blind - OK, I was legally blind. With GREAT anxiety, I submitted myself to Dr. Whitney's care, and I emerged from the first surgery absolutely amazed at the results. I was back her table a week later for the other eye, FAR less concerned with both the procedure and the outcome. I am now 20:20 in both eyes, no longer need glasses of any kind, and have for the first in over a decade, had the eyeglass restriction removed from my driver's license! I can honestly say, I'm very sorry that I have but only two eyes, or I'd be a repeat patient. Thank you, Dr. Whitney, for restoring my eyesight!!

I am a 63 year old man with a complex medical history of eye and neurological problems. I am new to the area and my Primary Physician refereed me to Dr. Whitney. She gave me a very thorough eye exam but more importantly she listened to my description of my new symptoms and recommended a MRI of brain and optic nerve. This is exactly what I thought I needed and she showed no hesitation about doing further testing. She is a wonderful Doctor that really cares about her patients. I am old and I have seen a lot of Doctors in my life and she was one of the most pleasant Doctors I have ever seen. Thank you Dr.Whitney

Dr. Whitney is one of the most caring and excellent doctors I have ever used. She is so down to earth and makes you feel very comfortable, no matter what she is doing for you, her patient. Not only has she checked my eyes annually, but has also done cataract surgery and a laser treatment on my right eye. I could not ask for a better opthomologist.
