Completely incompetent. I knew better when she had ordered the wrong test for me years ago for a chronic choking issue I have. Fast forward to this spring I was having progressive ear issues with some pretty severe neurological/dizzy symptoms. I was losing my hearing that a steroid did not help after the first visit and all of my symptoms kept getting worse- I returned to have a proper hearing test 2 weeks later with the audiologist which I never got and after a rushed 5 minute visit I was told I had TMJ and Covid brain fog. I had MRI images from a few weeks before that she never asked to see (I asked my primary for the MRI the week before seeing Dr. Samara because of my symptoms and I was desperate for an answer). After leaving the office after being told I had brain fog and TMJ- I burst in to tears. I could no longer work, could barely drive, I was dizzy and off balanced most days, losing my hearing- had MRI images that she didn’t care to investigate or look at. All this to say- I was sitting there with a benign brain tumor that was quickly and progressively causing these symptoms and Dr. Samara brushed them all off telling me I have TMJ and post Covid brain fog. I new deep down something more was going on because my world had quite literally been turned upside down by my symptoms. I will never return to this doctor or this office-Dr. Samara quite simply will not take your symptoms and concerns seriously, especially if you are a young and otherwise healthy woman.
