The way I was diagnosed (x-rays, explaining what procedures that would work for me step by step) Very professional ! Dr.El-Baghdadi and her staff members make me feel like family. I enjoy them when I'm there. They make me feel very welcome. I'm very lucky to have a specialist Dr.El-Baghdadi and her staff members care for my issues with expertise.

I was referred to her practice by a family member who had similar issues, i.e. knee pain. I had had surgery on both knees in the past and had been suffering for what seemed like years with what I describe as a CONSTANT ache in my right knee. I was unable to find a position, even lying in bed, where I did not have discomfort. I went to Dr. El-Baghadi's office and they took x-rays that showed major cartilage loss in the knee and near bone on bone contact. Being very reluctant to have a knee replacement at my age (73) and having listened to her description of the P2P process I agreed to have the procedure. After just three of the shots in the eight step process I was already feeling relief. I finished the treatment about three weeks ago and have had amazing results. No pain or discomfort in either knee. The doctor's explanation of the process, with no promises made, sold me on it. I would recommend both the doctor and her practice to anyone with similar issues.

Appointments are easy to arrange and the staff is there to help. Also helpful is the fact that both physical therapy and chiropractic treatment facilities are part of the available treatment and are onsite. Injections almost always provided immediate relief.

I have a patient of Dr. El-Baghdadi for about 5 years now. The various treatment options thy offer have done exactly what their facility is called ,Pain Relief.I have been mobile and can live a comfortable life thanks to their care

Dr El-Baghdadi is the best physician I have ever been to. She listened to what my knee problem was about and told me various methods of relieving the pain. I have had four surgeries on that knee and was still in incredible pain. It took a while but she really came through! The pain in my left knee is gone after enduring it for five years. I cannot recommend her enough.

I received injections in '22 & '23 from an MRI taken in late '21. We had a plan to address my 4th injection in Jan. '24. She asked that I update my MRI, which I agreed to do but said I couldn't do it immediately. I went to her in acute pain, that she treated in the past, but she refused to help me bc she didn't like that I didn't have a new MRI. She refused to treat me, breaking her oath, which is UNETHICAL, by allowing me to suffer in acute pain measuring a 10. Moreover, if I had a headache or felt lousy, she'd freak out and want to postpone my injections. Arguing with her that my headaches, etc didn't affect my ailing back was exhausting, and peculiar. The office demands that you return in person to follow up after injections. I've never gotten an injection elsewhere where I was made to return to follow up. A phone call sufficed. They made me/others do this and would bill insurance for another visit. The IDPFR should be aware of this. Awful practice.... Go elsewhere!

I had knee pain that is how I met Dr. El-Baghdadi I also had back pain for 12 years so I decided to let Dr. El-Baghdadi take a look WHAT A GREAT CHOICE, after 4 weeks of PT she gave me a epidural. My pain was gone later that day. I am working my way off pain medication and feeling better. Also I would like to thank all the physical therapist and all the office personal YOU ARE ALL GREAT. I stepped in the Pain Clinic Institute at 2222 Chestnut Ave. in Glenview, IL. 60026 after being hurt in the car accident, that’s where I met Dr. Mariam El-Baghdadi on October 10, 2023. I was in pain, my neck and upper back hurt; I couldn’t sleep at night, stressed out, feeling exhausted after the car accident. Dr. Mariam El-Baghdadi spoke to me in a relaxing voice, looked at X-rays taken and provided by her team member Shannon.As soon as the X-rays were ready Dr. Mariam El-Baghdadi thoroughly examined my neck and upper back and responded to all my questions very professionally. Then she came up with suggestions and offered Physical Therapy as a step 1 to begin my rehabilitation from the pain I was feeling at that moment. . Gradually I started feeling better and better being taken care of by herself and also very highly professional team of Physical Therapists. Thank you Dr. Mariam for the service quality which was outstanding, exceeding my expectations.

Dr. El-Baghdadi offers many options to relieve chronic pain. She is compassionate, knowledgeable and extremally helpful. My experiences at the Pain Relief Institute have fantastic. Highly recommended.

Dr. El-Baghdadi gave me a steroid shot which has helped me to function without the severe pain I have suffered with for years. Next, I am getting a steroid shot and gel infusion in my knee. Dr. E and the amazing staff have helped me tremendously. I can’t believe Iam feeling so much better It- s like a miracle. I highly recommend the Pain Relief Instutute . So this Summer I was in some very serious pain with my Sciatic nerve and I came here after not getting the results that I needed from a previous practice and I came here and Dr. EL-Baghadadi and all her staff got me back on track in no time. She is definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEDED!!!

This place called me after my first treatment with the doctor asking for feedback on how it went. I told them how terrible and unhelpful it was. How it was rushed and the injections were rapid fire when they needed to be slower and more methodical. I didn't plan to come back here at all but they asked me to assuring me they could do better. So I did and when I saw the doctor the second time she was confrontational and standoff-ish. She rolled her chair closer to me and insisted that she did a good job. This appointment went better than that last but not good enough to warrant coming back. They don't listen to your needs here. They call themselves an institute but there is no learning here. One top of the that the doctor here is unpleasant and took the articulate feedback I gave (that her office asked me for) very personally. She's unprofessional and shouldn't be in a patient facing environment.

I began seeing this doctor slightly over one year ago. I was diagnosed by a previous doctorwith spinal stenosis,narrowing of the spine.He inserted a SCS,(spinal cord stimulator) in my spine which nearly left me paralyzed.He then reversed the procedure thankfully or I would of been in a wheelchair the rest of my life.Shortly after this FAILED procedure I began seeing a doctor at the Pain Relief Ins.,Elmhurst,I’ll,Dr.Mariam el Baghdadi.She began a treatment plan beginning with physical therapy and then progressed to spinal injections.Today I have ZERO pain and my life is back to where it was 40 yrs ago. Thanks SO much doctor. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone who has a similar condition.

Was a bit skeptical that the procedure Dr El-Baghdadi was suggesting would relieve my back pain but was worth a shot since the procedure wasn't too difficult. I had never heard of the procedure she was recommending so wondered if it would work? What a nice surprise! After having the procedure my back pain is gone! Could it be that easy? I guess so. In addition, she has such a nice bedside manner. I'm a bit squeamish of needles and she distracted me enough to ease me through the procedure. So glad I had the procedure.

I first saw Dr El about a year ago for severe sciatic nerve pain. I couldn't walk long distances, a few blocks was unbearable. After one visit, Dr El knew how to treat me and more importantly she treated me with warmth and understanding. After my steroid treatment, I was able to walk and smile again. Her staff and her are amazing! Highly recommend her.
