My PCP for years and years retired, and I chose Dr. Sims based on her medical school, residency location, and office location. Saw her one time for my annual physical and that went fine, though she didn't ask questions at all. She canceled my next annual physical on short notice and couldn't see me for another 6 months. I found a different doc for that physical, whom I liked but she is also leaving the system, so Sims is still my PCP of record. Recently had an accident requiring an ER visit and stitches and was told to see my PCP for stitch removal. I messaged her office and got no reply at all. I'll find a new PCP. Extremely unimpressed. Inspires no confidence at all in her or my current healthcare system, Endeavor Health.

Dr. Sims was patient and asked lots of questions. I didn't feel rushed at all. My concern, however, is that I was there for a physical and I was never asked to get undressed. I had never seen Dr. Sims before. I don't understand how a thorough physical can be done without the patient getting undressed and being visually examined. I also mentioned a concern about a rash that she didn't ask to see. She only went by what I was told by another very unhelpful doctor who wasn't able to give me an answer either. When I received my blood work results there were several concerning results that I had to reach out to her to discuss. She seemed very unconcerned, and perhaps there wasn't a reason to be overly concerned but when your results are labeled as "abnormal" I would expect a doctor to follow up with me and not for me to have to seek her out. I was really hoping Dr. Sims could be my long term internal medicine doctor but my experience made me feel like I wasn't getting quality care.

Dr. Sims is an amazingly warm, kind, gentle, and approachable doctor. She is understanding and listens to your concerns. She gives you answers to your questions and maximizes your appointment by addressing your specific healthcare needs. Due to anxiety and bad experience elsewhere, I often feel apprehensive seeing doctors but I have always left an appointment with Dr. Sims feeling at ease.

In office appointment was okay. I’ve had a primary physician who was very detailed in her assessment but had to find a new provider because I moved. So I was recommended to see Dr. Sims. HeR assessment and visit was very quick. I felt sort of rushed but didn’t bother me too much. What bothered me was the after care. She never responded to my messages, I was on hold for over 30 mins when I would call her office, and when I had covid every infectious disease doctor would ask me “what does your primary recommend?” Well I don’t know because it is so hard to reach her, I don’t think she even cared! When I needed my fmla papers done, It took her over a month. I am so done. I wouldn’t recommend her
