A Caring Person and Wonderful Doctor
. I wish Dr Montoya was my PCP. She cares, listens to my concerns and goes beyond the cursory checkup some doctors do. I travel 45 minutes for her expertise.

Fantastic Dr.
I have not been an easy patient. My symptoms do not match my bloodwork. She has been worked very hard to find what is exactly wrong with me. She never gave up. She is professional, takes time with you, and is a caring Dr. Can't say enough good things about her. A good endocrinologist is a rare find!!!! She fills that bill and more.

Dr. Montoya has been our Endocrinologist for quite a number of years. She is an asset to her profession as well as to the community. She has an excellent bed side manner, listens to your concerns and addresses them. We receive excellent quality of care (above and beyond), her staff is attentive to your needs from scheduling appointments and refill prescriptions, as well as recommending other specialists when needed. She is very knowledgeable, up-to-date with current practices and procedures. We are very fortunate to have her as our Endocrinologist.

First in person, and follow up phone appointment with her PA were fine. She was very professional. Prescribed me the DEXcom6 CGM which has been great. That being said this past Monday I realized I would not have enough insulin remaining in one of the pens to last until a refill on 1/15. I called and left a message on the offered prescription extension, and again on Tuesday when Publix had not received it. I also left a message on the main extension (no human ever answers) stating I was out of insulin and asked that someone call me. I tried calling again Wends night from Publix. Though the message stated it was an answering service, again no human, and chose the option to leave a message for the Dr for the next day. It’s Thursday night and STILL no prescription at Publix, nor a phone call. Doesn’t seem like patience health is a priority here.

Very Frustrating to try to find an answer from a health professional in this office. They leave you waiting in hold and sound like recording robots "answering" an answer that doesn't make sense, but still keep repeating as robots. Health problems are not a priority for the desktop personnel. Maybe a UPS delivery or putting ink on the printer is. If the doctor is good, the personnel in the front will ruin her office.

Dr is good. staff with the exception of Daniel who is excellent seems very disorganized. I have had test results mysteriously "lost"or not available on more than one occasion. They are also very anxious to reschedule appts at the last minute ( even when you are enroute to you currently scheduled appointment)

This place is pretty terrible. Takes about a month to get each follow-up appointment. Even if you are being checked for a brain tumor, don't expect them to call you with results and give you any peace of mind. Don't expect them to answer their phone consistently -- you will often get sent to voicemail. This place seems very overwhelmed and disorganized to go with that. I regret picking this place. Doctors aren't very clear although they are friendly.

Unfortunately I was not able to make an appointment to consult with Dr. Montoya concerning my diabetes. My experience with this office never proceed any further than trying to make an appointment. Very disheartening to be new to this area and your diabetes is not being managed properly due to PTSD and the stress of moving. My health is very important and this person did not make me feel welcomed. Poor service.

She is a nice lady but her thick accent makes it difficult to understand. with my family history thyroid cancer I did not want to leave anything to chance. We had a tough time at first with the basics like ordering a biopsy. So, quickly I decided to look around for a different Endocrinologist. With the help of my good friend I found some one else. The new Dr ordered the biopsy right away then helped me get in for surgery within a couple of weeks.

I am a Type 1 diabetic for 47 years. I have been using the insulin pump for almost 15 years. Over the years, I have been to numerous endocrinologists, but Dr. Montoya is the best! She is extremely knowledgeable about the insulin pump and the latest improvements in the treatment of diabetes. Dr. Montoya takes the time to listen to your concerns and gets to know you as a person. I travel 50 miles to see her and it is worth the effort. I highly recommend her to everyone I know.
