I was hit into by a huge truck coming from S. Fl. I thought I was fine until a few days later, I went blind in my right eye. My retina had completely detached. From the moment I entered UPMC Presby ER, I was being seen by at least 5 residents who then called Dr. Ferrerra. She came in on a Saturday and saved my sight! I was never so scared. She performed gas bubbles procedure then Lazer 3 different times just for safe measure. As of today, I have my full sight back, 20/20 vision. Her knowledge, skill, kindness was downright amazing! Simply put, I couldn't have had a better team or a better Dr. than her in the entire world! Thank you just isn't enough but thank you from my ??.
