Dr. Marina Martyn, MD

Dr. Martyn preformed the most complete and thorugh physical exam i have ever had. Dr. Martyn is kind, compassionate and very straight forward. I would highly recommend Dr. Martyn to anyone looking for a family Doctor.

Dr. Martyn has always expressed her empathy and concern in each visit. I appreciate her open mind and willingness to often times think outside the box. She is a good listener, genuinely cares about outcomes and if one thing doesn’t work she doesn’t stop trying.

Dr Martyn is very caring, a good listener and very receptive to questions or suggestions. I feel like I have a say in my health care plan, am comfortable asking questions or voicing concerns and she will work with me to acheive the best outcomes. Her staff is very friendly and caring and always provide a prompt response.

Dr. Martyn has been my doctor for over 20 years and I could tell in the past that she was rushed to get from one patient to the next. Now that she is a part of MDVIP it is wonderful! She takes all the time we need to discuss anything I want to discuss and always has several suggestions for a resolution.

The staff is so much more happy and laid back, theres no waiting times, doc comes right in to see me at my scheduled time, im not rushed, blown off or looked upon. She body shames you about losing weight, she doesn't listen to what you are saying. I am just a paycheck to her, she wouldn't know me if I ran into her in a store, even though I have been going to her for years.

Shocking bedside manner. Judgemental. Condescending. Is never not in a rush. Gives little to no patient education. Orders labs then doesn’t give call backs with abnormal results. Claims in her news letter she is becoming MDVIP so that she may have a smaller caseload and be able to “listen to patient concerns”. It’s laughable, because she obviously knows she doesn’t give her patient’s the time of day. Now she expects them to pay a membership for subpar care given by a provider stuck in their ways who hasn’t spent half a thought on them.

My first time seeing Dr, Marton about my shoulders she told me I had to see orthopedic surgeon. If she took the time and looked over my medical records from my previous doctor that worked in the same office she would have seen that already seen a orthopedic surgeon about my shoulders . She asked me with orthopedic surgeon that have gone to. I told her and she told me No I did not. She is not very professional.

Dr. Martyn needs to study medical ethics again as she doesn't have any empathy towards her patients. She is not attentive to her pt's needs and doesn't try to listen to them. Very poor recent medical knowledge and always refers to look up the internet ( County Health Department ) for recent updates about medical issues. Probably, she doesn't read anymore. Didn't like the way was treated at her office.

I have never seen a worst doctor with unethical behavior. We have waited more than an hour for her to show up in the exam room although there were no patients in the waiting room. She was making excuses for not seeing me and she seemed like she was in a hurry to get home. She doesn't have any empathy towards her patients. This type of doctor should not be able to practice. Go to a different doctor!

Terrible experience. I waited an hour and a half for her to tell me I should probably Google and find my own diagnosis. When I asked if I could see a specialist to help better understand my lab results she said that she was a specialist and could not help me at all.
