Dr. Marina Vidovic, MD

The doctor has terrible "bedside manner". Not that I need my hand held but some humanity every once in a while wouldn't hurt. As it turns out I was right. Given my family history and the frightening prognosis I got from her. I though it would be prudent to get a CT scan to look further especially given the fact that I'm in my 40s now. She said "no need". I insisted. She pretty much dismissed my concerns. As soon as she left advocate. I reached out to my new doctor and he immediately agreed to have go through the scan. Lo and behold my suspicions were correct. Doctors should try listening to their patients. Just because we're not MDs. It doesn't mean we don't know our bodies or are idiots.

I saw Dr. Vidovic for years before I moved away and she really earned my trust for her knowledge. She always took the time to talk to me about my condition and what I needed to do about it. She got on my case when she needed to as well! I go to the VA Medical Center now, but miss her!

I went to to the dr since my ankle/ leg was in a lot of pain with some swelling. I am a bariatric patient and she made reference to my weight as the problem. "You are putting a lot of weight on your legs." I had lost 77 pounds in 3 months before this visit. She suggested nsaids that would have hurt the lining of my stomach. To top it off she left the door open while I was undressed and then when I brought it up she said she never would have done that. Unprofessional and rude.
