Dr. Marisa Argubright, DO

I visited Argubright leading up to delivery. During labor, she claimed I was fully dilated even though I was hesitant because I didn’t feel the need to push. After 20 minutes of trying without successful progression, she started threatening a C-section if I couldn’t “figure it out.” Obviously that was very upsetting for someone who sought her out as a more naturally-minded physician and as a first time mom struggling through labor. She then checked me again and goes, “Oh. You’re only at a 6 or a 7.” I was CRUSHED. She blamed it on me being checked on my side, which she had attempted but ultimately did roll me over onto my back to finish checking me. Then she left. I was so devastated and angry after having been promised that I was so close to meeting my baby. I had been awake for over 24 hours and was absolutely exhausted. I ended up getting an epidural and switching doctors due to my nurse being an angel. Would never recommend for your OBGYN: unprofessional, belittling, and unkind.

My experience was horrible and inexcusable. I had scheduled a first visit with Dr. Argubright after doing research for finding a new GYN. At that visit, I went through the whole pre-visit check with her nurse and was told to undress and put on the typical coverings. While waiting, the nurse came back in to ask that I put on a mask. I had on my face shield, so I declined. Next, the head nurse or office manager came in to ask me to put on a mask. Again I declined, stating I have two medical conditions and cannot wear masks. I was told that Dr. Argubright would not see me unless I wore a mask. I was livid! If Argubright is so adamant, why wasn't I informed right away? Why didn't her nurse tell me this BEFORE going through the pre-visit routine and asking me to undress? Totally unprofessional all the way around.

Dr. Argubright is kind, caring, and thorough. I feel I am in good hands with her and she always talks about lifestyle factors as well with me which I appreciate.

Dr. A is an amazing Dr. I changed dr’s 2 yrs ago and I am glad I did. Very thorough, answers my questions, Her staff is amazing as well! I would recommend her to anyone!

I saw Dr. Argubright last week and am so impressed with her. She listens, spends as much time as needed with each patient and is kind, in addition to be knowledgeable. I know I’m in good hands with her as my dr.

Did not bother to get any info about me even though I’d gone to that clinic for 25 years. Treated me based on my faulty 71 yr old memory even though correct dates were on my file. Said I’d need to go to specialist even though my previous, now retired, dr at the same clinic had prescribed same medicine without any problems. Gave me several pages of about 35 specialists she said I’d have to call to see if they took my insurance. Why wouldn’t she suggest I call my insurance company. Was very abrupt

Dr. Argubright is amazing!!! She takes time to really get to know her patients. My husband hasn't been to the doctors office in over 20 years and now thanks Dr. Argubright for saving his life. I think we have found our home. Thank you Dr. Argubright!
