Dr, Emmons was my PCP for several years before she moved to the Northside location which was difficult for me to get to. Seldom have I found a more kind and upbeat doctor in my 61 years. Always KNEW my diagnosis was ON TARGET and she cared. After going to doctors that were going to remove a prolapsed uterus that was not prolapsed and doctors that asked me what I had and then wrote meds accordingly. Miss Marissa was a breath of fresh air. I would highly recommend her.

She is very friendly and knows what she is talking about but she has you come in for unnecessary appointments. I went in for a check up and asked for a blood panel and an ultrasound. They scheduled the ultra sound but not the blood panel. I called back and they said I needed to come in again for another check up before she would request a blood panel. This is just one of three instances. With the copay through the insurance, it all adds up for people who don't make enough money.

Dr. Marissa Emmons is the finest Internal Medicine doctor I have ever seen. The staff is great, courteous and very mindful of appointment times. (I have rarely waited ten minutes) The doctor herself is friendly, warm, engaging, and knows her stuff! I have been seeing her for about five years and she has been expert in handling all my medical issues with clarity and knowledge that is unmatched in my experience.
