Dr. Marisol Sanchez-Lance, DO

Dr. Sanchez-Lance ordered multiple blood tests and imaging tests. The tests were thousands of dollars and she never discussed the results or followed up other than leaving a comment on the patient portal, “Test results are abnormal referral sent for follow up”. It’s been a year and a half and I’m still waiting to see the specialists. I still don’t know what the results of the tests mean, but I know that none of my health issues have any resolution whatsoever. I’m still waiting for treatment.

Without getting into specifics of my medical history I will say in my opinion Dr. Sanchez is sloppy and does not review blood test results carefully and thoughtfully and does not speak personally with patients before prescribing and pressuring them to take medications, like statins, that do not need to be taken. She does not respond directly to questions when respectfully challenged but instead sidesteps questions and refers you on to another doctor to waste your money and the next doctors' time. I hope Mayo wakes up and removes this doctor from their staff before she continues to practice sloppy medicine and not be accountable by not answering basic & direct questions posed to her after she prescribes medications. People have rights to have their doctors to be honest and direct with them.

I have wasted my time and effort, this doctor doesn't work in this place, however they gave me an appointment.

Dr Lance is a great doctor all around. It was sad to see her leave UF health. Farewell and good luck.
