This GP is the only one that knew how to think outside the box and I was happy to have met her. You ordered every test underneath the sun and if it wasn't for her I would have never found out I had Lyme disease which she cured. The only thing is along with all those tests, she diagnosed me or 46 different diagnoses that I didn't have all of them. Maybe eight. For that my medical record is ruined and my insurance company now has this list of things that I supposedly have that I don't. She also played games with me as far as the price on hormone therapy. In 2012 she got in trouble with the Florida State board for playing tricks and schemes on her patients. These were their words. And then in 2014 she got in trouble with the state attorney's office for having employees perform duties in her pulmonary office that they were not trained nor licensed in. I would avoid this doctor unfortunately.

I have been treated by Dr Villa for 6.5 years !
Yes she is busy! It’s because she takes time with her sick patients! Her staff is ALWAYS good to me but I can tell you patients are not nice to them because they have accents so does the majority of our population !! Use your ears and pay attention !! She has diagnosed multiple medical problems I have had and gotten me outa trouble . Everywhere is busy have patience …

Dr Villa found the answer to my long illness.
Swollen joints with debilitating joint pain and chronic fatigue for decades. Fevers with lupus like rashes and yet no Dr ran the right blood tests to determine the diagnosis till Dr Villa did.

Worst Doctor in The Villages
She is a big opponent of the vaccines. After she found out I had two Pfizer vaccines, she falsely diagnosed me with severe allergies and prescribed 14 weeks of allergy shots (2 in each arm) and three autoimmune diseases (2 of them deadly), and severe sleep apnea and needed a CPAP machine immediately, and a lung condition. All this time, she stopped me from getting much-needed right knee replacement surgery, refusing to sign off on it saying I would die if I had surgery. Finally, from a lung scan, she said she saw a serious heart condition and said she had a cardiologist friend she would refer me to. At this point (more than three years of her false diagnoses, I had heard enough) and told her if she saw a heart condition, that I was going to Mayo Clinic. She got very upset and told me if I was going to Mayo, that I had to leave her office immediately!

Terrible, lack of communication!!!! Poor attitude.
Constant lack of communication, most importantly leading to possibly serious adverse reactions to change in medication. Very poor attitude when approached regarding it. Her response was -'not a big deal', well, yes, your medical care, and correct prescriptions IS and always should be a big deal to your PCP. With this attitude, and confusion in office-it was time to make a change. Find a Physician that truly treats the patients' issues and cares about their well-being. Not just fluffing them off as 'no big deal'. Lost a lot of respect for this Dr. Please think twice about letting her handle meds that definitely ARE a big deal if not prescribed carefully. They're lucky we didn't report them to the medical board. So important to be able to respect your PCP and staff, if the Dr is not in charge of staff & has no idea who is doing what- you get impression your health is not important- not good. Be involved in your health. I feel bad for those who don't know how to know to inquire about it!

Chaotic. They schedule appointments then cancel them then tell me i have already done that appointment. It took 1 year after a cat scan before i was accidentally told me, I have a nodule on my upper right lung. It took 3 years before I found out i had 2 nodules. Mid and upper right lung. I am told I will have treatment then told they dont know what i am talking about. Nothing is documented and what is, is in fact misleading. This place is exhausting and takes a huge toll on your mental and physical health. Its all about the money and never about the patients.

One star only so I can commentt
She was having my husband come in Daily 4 IV infusion with flagyl treating him for amoebic dysentery and she never tested him. She did do all kinds of other lab work that wasn't necessary He ended up in in the emergency room and admitted to the hospital for 5 days. He did not have dysentery

So far Dr Villa has canceled my appointments, I only had one video call with her as a new patient. Not sure if Dr. really cares about her Patients. I've been waiting almost 3 months for a in person visit and testing to be done, and she canceled appointment.

The staff has absolutely no idea what they are doing. I went in for monoclonal injection which is supposed to take approx 2 hrs to administer and then an hour observation after to make sure you do not have any problems. The tech started the iv and left. Never came back to check on me until the iv was almost finished and she removed the iv and said ok you can go at which I informed her that I was to be Observed for An hr at which she saidOk and left me by myself for an hr. Cane back and said you can go and I told her that I was supposed to get vitamins to take with me. No one had any idea what I was supposed to get. Finally got that straightened out. Then went to the pharmacy to pick my two scripts up and They had sent them to the wrong Publix so have to go back later once my pharmacy gets it straightened out. And never saw the dr. Not even sure she was there

HORRIBLE!!! SEEK ANOTHER PROVIDER! I waited almost 3 hours to be seen by Dr. Villa. She was bouncing from one exam room to the next because all of the multiple (I think 9) rooms had waiting patients. Dr. Villa finally entered my room and proceeded to struggle and squint at the computer screen, saying she was very near-sighted. I asked her why she did not wear glasses but she did not answer. It concerned me that with her poor vision, she could clearly miss something on my physcial exam! Dr. Villa then proceeded to take my health history by writing down the information on the exam table’s paper sheet!!! I said I hoped all that information would eventually make it’s way to my medical record! At that point I had seen enough and walked out and will find another provider. I found Dr. Villa to be unprofessional and condescending and I felt the practice was run more like a factory than a health care facilty.

Dr. Villa has both a medical and holistic ability to which is rare. In addition she can order detailed holistic tests and can read them. She understands modern effects of environmental problems. With this said it takes patience to get through each part of the process seeking good results. She is a lovely caring person.

Thank you Dr. Villa! For the very first time, I feel I have a doctor who actually cares about me, the whole me! Dr. Villa did a series of wellness checks, not just treating me piecemeal for pre-existing conditions. Her staff is wonderful. I would like to make special mention of Nancy. She went above and beyond for me when an issue arose with my insurance. To sum up, I would recommend Dr. Villa to everyone and I do!

I only gave them one star so it would let me comment. So I went on 8/25/17 and let me tell you this doctor is very unprofessional. She didn't care to listen to what my problem was or why i was there. All she wanted to do was insult me about my weight. She was rude and called me fat. Told me she bets I eat alot and when I said I didn't she said ya ok and them ask how tall I was and said I was pretty tall that's how I can pull off all this weight. Needless to say I won't be goin back. You can ask
