Just thought of her today
My son is seventeen and has multiple diagnoses. Dr Lake was the first doctor he had after he was born. Dr Lake would carry him around the office and tell me how she loved his red hair. I didn’t know what kind of life we were in for, but she helped so much until we had to move. After another visit with neuro yesterday, I remembered some things she’d told me and I think she knew what was going on with my son back then…. She kept worrying about encephalopathy because of his large head, he ended up being diagnosed with autism and a visual impairment, but back then they didn’t really say they could see this on those tests or that, but I’m pretty certain she put it all together before everyone else did. I wish there were more doctors like her…

Dr. Lake is a phenomenal physician. She came highly recommended by our pediatrician and she has been nothing short of a God-send for my son. I am incredibly thankful for her compassionate care and the thoroughness with which she examines symptoms and talks through potential problems/pitfalls. She is always courteous and professional, and her knowledge is remarkable. I couldn't recommend her highly enough!
