I'd give more stars if I could
I have been followed by Dr. Blitzer for 22 years- more than half of my life! To say he goes above and beyond for his patients is an understatement. He has spent countless hours on the phone with my family's doctors across the country to understand complicated family history, and continues to do so as more family members experience similar health concerns. Dr. Blitzer has performed several surgeries on me, and always shows amazing care and bedside manner. It is true that it is more difficult to get in touch with him since his practice was acquired by Yale. I don't believe this is any fault of his own, and despite that, I would never trust another doctor as much as I trust him.

Awful
My dad is 95 and a patient of Dr. Blitzer. He was recently hospitalized. Upon release he developed a blood pressure issue that resulted in him experiencing drops in blood pressure upon sitting and standing. Visiting nurses have attempted to call and speak to Dr. Blitzer 3 times, I have called twice. Over 3 days and 5 calls he has neglected to contact any of us. Absolutely unacceptable and pathetic.

HIS BEDSIDE MANNERS ARE HORRIBLE!!! HE HAD ME CRYING ONCE I LEFT THE OFFICE. IT'S HARD ENOUGH TO FIND SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS WHAT YOUR GOING THRU. TO THAN HAVE HIM NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SYMPTOMS AN HAS NEVER TREATED MANY PPL WITH MY RARE CONDITION. I WILL NEVER EVER SEE HIM AGAIN... DO NOT GO HERE IF YOUR LOOKING FOR UNDERSTANDING AN COMPASSION.

It is scary enough to have a pacemaker Put in ,but you will have no worries Dr.Blitzer is a very competent surgeon. Ht is easy to find at St. Raphels Hospital, go past the hospital and thru the light the parking is in plain sight.Takt the ticket and go across the street to the front of the building. You are there

Dr. Mark Blitzer and his RN, Marisa, are an extraordinary team. Whip smart, professional and attentive to every detail, not to mention very pleasant to be with. Dr. Blitzer implanted a Medtronic Linq Monitor in my chest at Yale-New Haven Hospital-Cardiac Division. Amazing technology, performs perfectly. I can recommend Dr Blitzer without reservation.
