Warm caring physician who is very competent.
Dr Burton really cares about his patients as humans and patients. He’s quite the detective who keeps searching, running relevant tests, etc. until he finds the medical answer to a patient’s problems. We referred my brother in law who had been to Duke with troubling symptoms and little was done for him. He left Dr Burtons office with a 24 hour EkG machine attached to him! I recommend Dr Burton enthusiastically.

Dr. Burton has been my doctor for 20 years. He is attentive, concerned with a great bedside manner. He listens and encourages questions. He is straight forward and takes time to address your concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Burton.

My mother has been here many times. She always had good lab results so he would barely do an exam. She keep telling him she didn't feel well and her abdomen was bloated and she just didn't feel right. She also asked him if she should go see a gynecologist because when she had a hysterectomy years ago-they had left the ovaries. He would tell her that it wouldn't be necessary due to her age (77) her ovaries would be shriveled up by now. well-she got diagnosed with STAGE IV Ovarian cancer! Run!
