I first met Dr. Byron in the ER where a relatively large kidney stone was trying to pass. He was the doctor on call. Dr. Byron had such a wonderful bedside manner. He explained what procedure was needed to get the stone to pass. Unfortunately, due to the size of my 'pet rock' it could not be handled through oral medicine. I do not take narcotic meds which he explained were not necessary. However he told me of a non-invasive procedure that with my permission he could perform called a lithotripsy. He further explained why and how this procedure worked. And that most people really just need to follow up with plenty of water and avoid foods that may cause more stones. The litho was an out patient procedure that would break the stone into smaller pieces when I went to the bathroom. All questions were answered and if I had any other questions before or after the litho I could call his office. Follow up appts. were 15-30 min long due to a pleasant efficient staff from start to finish.

The office staff, particularly the manager, is VERY unprofessional. The nurse manager is RUDE. I called to clarify some issues and they talked to us like we were incompetent. I can't give it 1 star because it said "hate". I can't hate anything, but STRONGLY disliked the unprofessional manner in which my husband, a disabled veteran, was treated.

After being released from another local hospital for a major blockage one call to Dr Byron's office and 15 minutes to receive reports...this office had my husband heading to surgery. The staff and Dr. Bryson are more than efficient. I would and do recommend this facility to anyone. Thank you all so very much. Sammy and Karen Floyd
