My husband is a new patient of Dr Coker ... and we think he and his staff are great. They are very accommodating and thorough. If you call the office ... a PERSON talks to you. We are very pleased with DR COKER and COMPANY !

I saw Dr Coker due to rapid heartbeat & dyspnea. My new reflux meds listed this as a side effect, which I asked about. He said I "tried to BLAME the med" for my "poor cardiovascular fitness." I could do only 3 minutes on treadmill. Much later, bloodwork showed iron deficiency anemia. I was dismissed by this doctor& went months with symptoms I am surprised he did not recognize.

Five years ago I lay sedated in the ICU at Trident Hospital after having a massive heart attack at the age of 52. Nobody knew what to do for me. The heart surgeon refused to perform a bypass operation because my heart was so weak I would not have survived the operation. Dr Coker saved my life by inserting 5 stents into my heart, opening up the 90% blocked vessels. I'm still doing good and with no complications 5 years later. I owe this man my life and an enormous debt of gratitude.

This doctor put 2 stents in my fathers artery. He told my dad if he had any issues to call him. My dad immediately starting having issues. Shortness of breath, very dizzy to the point of being nausea and no strength to walk across the room. He called and left messages for 4 days with no call back. Once I called them screaming they did respond and got him a appoint 2 days later! I am not sure where the problem are in the practice either with the doctor or his staff but it is ridiculous.
