Excellent and professional doctor
I've been a patient of Dr. Diamond since 1987. He is absolutely a dedicated and knowledgeable doctor. He takes the time to thoroughly explain procedures and results. Dr. Diamond is always accessible and responsive when medical issues arise. His assistant is very helpful and professional especially in scheduling appointments and arranging medication refills. They both follow up promptly with phone calls as promised. I highly recommend Dr. Diamond. He is the best!

Excellent Doctor
I have been a patient of Dr. Diamond's since the early 90's. He has been the most attentive doctor I could ever ask for. He is very thorough in explaining the options for treating my Crohn's disease and always takes the time to answer my questions and concerns. Over the last 30 plus years I have recommended him to family and friends and all of them have had the same experience as I do. Rachel at the front desk is very congenial and is a pleasure to speak with. I highly recommend him!

Go see a real liver Hepatologist
If I could leave a 0 review I would.Unfortunately my wife was sent to Dr. Diamond because of a liver condition. Supposedly one of his specialties was liver conditions. Could not be farther from the truth. My wife was misdiagnosed from the very beginning. Her liver bloodwork constantly came back abnormal. He told her she had a fatty liver and sent her to his friend who is a hematologist. The hematologist said he could not figure out what was up with my wife’s abnormal blood work even after numerous tests over a long period of time. The tests showed that my wife’s blood had a very low clotting factor. Because of this my wife suffered a brain hemorrhage which caused a stroke. While in the hospital a real liver Hepatologist told us that it was obvious from the blood work that my wife needed a liver transplant as soon as possible. This is something that Dr. Diamond never mentioned once. If you have liver issues PLEASE, PLEASE see an actual Liver Hepatologist not a Gastroenterologist.

Arrogant and condescending!
Dr. Diamond had been my Gastroentrologist for more than 10 years and I respected him. The turnaround time with script refills were always very poor, but a small price. The most recent visit was a completely different. He was so condescending, dismissive and argumentative. When I spoke up to question something he said, he raised his voice, at which time I gave up and decided to move on.

Courteous, friendly, thorough and extremely professional. Best of all he speaks to you in layman's terms so you understand what is taking place. The other great feature is his out patient surgical center in Greenspring Station. The staff and the nurses are topnotch. Very caring and attend to your every need. On a 10 scale I'd give them a 12! I heartily recommend Dr. Diamond and his staff. I have been a patient since 2012 and this last procedure was August of this year.

Dr Diamond is an excellent physician. I began experiencing bowel issues and was diagnosed with UC. I have been under his care for 24 years and continue to be pleased with his mannerism and demeanor. My disase is in remission and I feel fortunate to have is doctor patient relationship.

Ease of scheduling my appointment very easy. Office was clean and comfortable, staff friendly and courteous all questions were answered and explanation of procedure was explained Before procedure nurses very attentive and Dr Diamond came in and told me what they would be doing and after the procedure came over and asked how I was feeling making sure I felt comfortable with procedure

Very thorough when explaining procedures, results, options. Spends as much time as needed with patient. An office visit is more like a medical class. Very good followup after procedures.

He has no answering service. You cannot even leave a message for a callback. Instead, you need to talk to his Office manager who is short, rude and seemingly overwhelmed. I'm going elsewhere.
