Dr. Esche has been my doctor for 20 years and I can’t say enough great things about him. He is the best listener, most understanding and caring doctor for our needs. I feel blessed to have found him so long ago. He’s truly a savior.

Absolutely the best!
Dr. Esche is the best I have ever to manage my mental health. He is always available to listen and really knows the details of the prescriptions and how they may interact with other medications. He takes the time to educate and explain everything and is never rushed and never makes you feel you aren't worth his time.

10 Years Later and STILL THE BEST DOC EVER
My experience with Dr. Esche is pretty extensive, considering how long I have been his patient. I can be a bit of a...problem patient as well. He is the most logical, grounded, efficient and effective psychiatrist anyone could ever hope to have. I have literally avoided moving out of state as I know I could never find another like him - or even close. He is so patient and considerate (not to mention absolutely brilliant), and if I ever have the slightest issue/problem with medication then we talk about it and he gives me potential alternatives with expert guidance, or why maybe I should rethink changing, etc. But he really listens to me, and considers thoroughly whatever my problem may be. In other words, he wants to get to the bottom of what's wrong and fix it. And that's exactly what he's done for me. This doctor is, far and away, the absolute best I have ever had. If you read these things, Doc, thank you from the bottom of my heart for changing my life so completely.

Dr. Esche cares more about his policies than seeing his existing patients. He refused service after a year when my daughter requested switching from the nurse (not recommended) to Dr. Esche. Instead, they refused any further services, leaving my daughter without care. Cannot recommend.

Dr. Esche is easily my favorite doctor. I've never felt rushed during appointments and he always makes sure to talk through decisions /conditions/medications with me until I'm satisfied. If my ADHD or depression ever feel out of control, I'm comforted by the fact that I know Dr. Esche will work with me until we find a good solution. I cannot recommend him enough, and I'm extremely glad to have found such a caring doctor 5 years ago.

I visited Dr. Esche as a new patient today. I have been reflecting on what a truly GREAT experience it was since I left his office and had to come write a review. He has a kind and calm demeanor which naturally relaxed me as the patient. I knew he had read over my Patient Intake forms prior to me being called back by how he started the conversation and the questions he asked. None of his questions made me feel guilty or shameful about my situation. He has an unteachable talent to discuss symptoms while removing the stigma we often feel as patients dealing with our health. He is clearly an expert in his field with tons of nuggets of info that no one has ever shared with me about my diagnosis and treatment plan. I left and instantly felt a weight lift off my shoulders. The process of booking was easy. (Because he is great, he was booked out for a few months so be prepared to wait to get in. But worth it!!) I was called back within 5 min of arriving. All around IDEAL experience!!!

When I realized I had some serious problems, I looked for doctors that could help, but didn't find any . They always had some restrictions or limitations that I couldn't overcome. During my first appointment with Dr. Esche, he gave me an overview of my problems and prescribed medications that actually helped. I no longer have crippling depression, I am able to manage my acute anxiety, and I can focus better. I am good now.

I had seen another doctor on a monthly bases & our patient doctor relationship was deteriorating & I just stopped going to see him. I had a lot of hard issues I was going through death, loss, job. My primary doctor referred me to Dr. Esche by name. I find Dr. Esche easy to talk to & he seems to take a sincere concern. Yes, he prescribed medication but not to the point of me not feeling my pains but to the ability of coping with them. I do not want to be a walking zombie. He is a good guy!

He seemed very uncomfortable with female patients of high intelligence who also had significant mood issues. His solution was to throw medication at me, in higher and higher doses. Whenever I questioned his treatment plan, he took that as an assault on his manhood and would retaliate. I was wildly overmedicated and incorrectly diagnosed, due to Dr. Esche's ego, and I had to eventually stop working entirely because of the medication he was giving me and the lack of treatment for my actual disease

I've been going to see Dr. Esche for 6 years and my experience is 100% positive. My first visit I felt like the appointment was too quick but it was mainly because my preconception of a Psychiatrist was incorrect and I thought he would ask me all these deep questions...that's more of what a Psychologist does but I didn't want Psychotherapy anyway. He's very concise and if you tell him what you're dealing with he'll help you with treatment. He knows what he's doing and he's a nice guy.
