Dr Gerber carefully and clearly explained my condition, including showing me precisely on an MRI and on x-rays what was the situation with my neck. He patiently listened to my information, and answered all my questions. He gave me clear choices for the way forward, and gave me great confidence in the possible outcomes of surgery. Never had a need for a neurologist before. After the appointment was made I was surprised on how quickly the preliminaries and mri were completed allowing me to meet with Dr. Gerber and getting me started to getting cured from the pain. He got right to the point with how he wanted things done and put my mind at ease saying surgery would only be done as a last resort. Dr. Gerber performed disc replacement surgery for me in 2017, and it was a very positive experience. I have moved away from the Naples area, and returned to see him for a new consultation (different health issue). I have thorough trust and confidence in him, should I need another surgery.

I live within 30 miles of the renowned Cleveland Clinic, home of many outstanding doctors. However, I was traveling to Naples shortly after I was told I needed a spinal fusion. Being open and searching all options, I found Dr. Gerber and made an appointment. No more searching. I had read his background so didn’t need any reinforcement there. To meet him though is to know he is the consummate doctor. Though I don’t relish surgery, I am at ease knowing this gentle man will be the one operating.

Dr. Gerber explained thoroughly my MRI results and recommendation for nerve conduction studies.

Dr. Gerber is so calm and compassionate, and offers conservative measures to alleviate your pain. Very thorough and explains things so you clearly understand your options.

Dr Gerber was referred to me by my previous neurosurgeon who retired. I’m thankful everyday for having Dr. Gerber as my neurosurgeon. He’s removed a tumor from my wife’s spine and operated on my spine three different times. Trust me, surgery is not his first recommendation. You have a sense that Dr. Gerber truly cares about you. He is very thorough and detailed when explaining everything he does. Dr. Gerber also spends whatever time is needed during appointments. You never feel rushed when seeing him. Wait time in the lobby is never more than 15 minutes. I should mention this goes for the entire staff especially Sybil!

Dr Gerber did my back 2 years ago. So mad I waited so long. I was told I needed more work from everyone else I went to. He fixed me with minimal procedure. Awesome. No one else will touch my back.
