Back to Basics
I have been a patient of Dr. Hill for 7 years. Dr. Hill attention to detail and ensuring that your medical needs are being met is unmatched. He is the FIRST doctor I have been to in my adult life, that went through my Lab results with me line by line. It was explained to me in detail, next steps were discussed, a print out was provided, and I left my appointment knowing exactly what was going on with my health. I love that he is African American Provider, which is extremely hard to find these days, especially in the Bronx, NY. Now as far as him being rude, that has never been my experience. Doctors are individuals therefore their caring styles are going to be different. It is up to the Patient to find a Provider that match the care he/she would like to receive. Dr. Hill runs an extremely professional, organized medical practice.

Horrible Office
1) My blood was drawn incorrectly. It had to be redone (and taken) from my other arm. 2) The office Text Service clearly stated my prescription was ready to be picked up. The Pharmacy never received the prescription, so I went and waited for nothing. 3) It took the office too long to submit my initial bloodwork to the lab, so I had to come in and have it done again. 4) The doctor spoke of my upcoming surgical procedure in front of 3 patients in the lobby area. 5) Maria told me to come in for a Covid Exam. When I did, I was informed they couldn't do it, therefore, wasting my time (yet again). 6) It took 4 attempts for my prescription to be properly sent. 7) Ridiculous wait-times of 1-2 hours are common. I've experienced them myself. The way to handle this was to acknowledge & apologize for these inept mistakes. When a doctor is too much of a coward to hold others accountable, it allows the staff to go rogue (with no fear of reprimand). Complaint made with the Department of Health.

Dr. Hill used to be very caring but he's now EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! He speaks to his patients in a very condescending manner which makes his staff follow suit! The office is a mess and the wait time is unacceptable. You can wait anywhere bet. 30 - 1hr+ only to then be rushed thru your visit and told you will need to return for another visit if he feels your discussing too much! Someone should really investigate this office because they behavior is beyond ethical!!!!!

I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF DR HILL FOR ALMOST FOUR YEARS. HE HAS TAKEN EXCELLENT CARE OF ME. I WORKED IN HEALTHCARE FOR ALMOST FORTY YEARS SO I HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO MY HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS. DR HILL HAS BEEN CARING AND VERY UNDERSTANDING. HE IS VERY THOROUGH AND GOES THE EXTRA MILE. THE OFFICE STAFF ARE ALWAYS PLEASANT AND POLITE. I WILL GLADLY TAKE THIS KIND OF TREATMENT OVER THE "MODERN- HI-TECH" TEN MINUTE TURN AROUND THAT SO MANY PROVIDERS IN THE BRONX OFFER.

Dr Hill and his staff are extremely unprofessional and have a poor bedside manner! The staff is extremely lazy and its like asking for a favor to get them to do their jobs! The Receptionist has a super bad attitude but no surprise there since the Doctor is totally rude too!! The office is unorganized and outdated! Total disgrace!

Doctor and staff are rude and incompetent! The medical assistant didn't know what amoxicillin is?! Yeah, that's comforting. The office is a mess and the way they treat and speak to patients is offensive. I've had several very unpleasant interactions with this office and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

this "Doctor" is the most unprofessional. I have never seen something like him ever. He sits at the front desk with his receptionist playing "Candy crush" on his phone as patients wait in the waiting room to be seen by him or in side the rooms while he takes his free time. 2nd: he will not give any referals to anyone unless "HE" feels like it is medically necessary. SO in other words if you feel like you need to get a mamogram b/c of pain, unless he thinks you need it, he wont give it to you.

Examination rooms are dusty and floors dirty. My room had paint peeling off the walls and the bed was torn. Interviewing Triage Assistant had to ask me how to spell the antibiotic I was allergic to. Assistant performing the CPOD test when asked what it was for didn't know. Receptionist is rude and unaccommodating. Dr Hill was nice, unfortunately I would not be going back there because of their unsanitary rooms. Had to call 4 days later because my prescription was still not sent to the pharmacy

I just started with Dr. Hill. I like that he has several staff members doing their own thing. Meaning there is a staffer who strictly takes blood and gives injections, another one does the cardiograms and breathing tests. I appreciate that more than 1 person doing everything. His staff is very friendly and polite and i like that he has Saturday hours. I would very much so recommend him.
