Dr Mark C Hines
Dr Hines is one of the best doctors that I have had the chance of seeing. I have seeing Dr Hines for 23 years now. He has treated all kinds of issues with my body. He listens to you, doesn't rush you thru your appointments. He even explains what kind of treatment that I can get for my many issues that I have. He has even told me what I can research on issues that my mom had. I have NEVER had any type of issue when seeing Dr Hines. If I could give him more stars than 5, I would. He is defiantly worth it. You will not find a better doctor than Dr, Hines.

This was a great new patient visit. Dr. Hines spent almost an hour with me. He reviewed my pmh, dx. , meds, new pt packet and poc. He explained everything in layman's terms using diagrams and models. He also explained what is expected of me as a new pt and what I can expect from him as my pain doctor . I'm sure I left some things out. He was very informative, thorough, easy to speak to and he invited all questions. After ensuring I understood everything he did a physical exam. He was ontime for my appointment and did rush through anything. I felt really.lucky to find him, because of all the horror stories I have read in a couple of pain groups I am part of online.

Cut me off cold turkey
I had been seeing Dr. Hines for about a year, all was going well until I was unknowingly prescribed an opioid by my PA Psychologist. I mentioned that I wanted to come off of the opioids & the PA prescribed me with an opioid that I didn’t know was one, so when Dr. Hines found out, he threw me out of his program. Since then, my pain has spread & gotten much worse. I’ve tried every treatment for pain to no avail.

Dr Hines is an excellent specialist with competent staff. Very professional doctor/patient relationship. Chronic conditions change with time, and so do treatment plans. He is very thorough with medical explanations which help you as a patient to consider the benefits and risks of any possible treatment plan. I wish there were more professional physicians of his character.

Dr. Hines cares, gives options, and explains everything to me in a way that I can understand. He doesn’t do a 2 minute rush visit like most of the doctors these days, he’s about giving his patients the best care and not the money. I wish all doctors were like him, he understands what I am dealing with and after going to him for 2 1/2 years now I feel like we’ve been life long friends. I am really happy I found him. He really is a great person and doctor. The girls in the office are a pleasure to deal with also, very polite and helpful.

With all the professional experience he has, he should be more knowledgeable and aware of patients' family history of opioid addiction and patient's signs of addiction before increasing the prescription dosage of opium based pain killers.
