Dr. Jo was very helpful and answered all my questions regarding my upcoming hip replacement. He is realistic and thorough and provided me with practical advice for preparation both pre-op and post-op.I really appreciated the time he spent with me, and I know I’m in good hands with Dr. Jo!

Dr. Jo is an excellent surgeon, has wonderful bedside manners and is very knowledgeable. During office visits, he gives me his full attention and as much time as needed—doesn’t ever make our appointments feel rushed. I appreciate his sense of humor, too!

I’ve seen Dr. Jo on 2-3 separate occasions and never felt more disregarded by a doctor. I waited one hour before seeing him every time for him to simply tell me to “get an MRI” after sitting down with him for 3 minutes of his time. Yesterday he gave me a doctor’s order for the wrong knee to get an MRI without even checking what could be wrong. Unless there is surgery required Dr. Jo seems to be entirely uninterested.

Dr. Jo lacks bedside manner and patience required to deal with his patients properly. He makes inappropriate comments and does not listen to the patients needs or concerns. I felt very disregarded, not treated properly, and did not solve my issues. I stopped treatments to avoid having to deal with him or his rude staff.

They were very timely and took their time with me and having everything in order. I'm looking fwd to having my left meniscus fixed by Dr Jo

Dr. Jo operated on my knee. Which had multiple fractures below the knee, on February 2019. I finished the LA marathon on march 17, 2024! Thank you Dr. Jo! Do your therapy!

The doctor was real dismissive about my personal experiences that I tried to share with him that could shed light upon why I was having a problem. He spewed generalizations that categorized everyone that had a problem like mine with no regard to the fact that each individual may have had unique struggles that could lead to the struggle I was having.He didn’t even look at the x-rays that I taken prior to this visit in order to prepare for the visit at a competent and reputable lab. Instead he ordered X-rays to be taken the same day with all my clothes on. This resulted the X-rays showing my pants zipper obstructing some of the problem area. He didn’t even have me take different positions in order to get a better view of my problem area.All in all I felt as if I was rushed through the appointment as if I was in an assembly line. I believe I actually spoke with him for about 3 minutes with him doing most of the talking. I would definitely not ever recommend this doctor to anyone!

Dr Jo is great. They were quick and thorough when treating my son. I love everyone over there at their office.

Excellent explanation and treatment of my right hip pain

Dr. Mark Jo fixed my broken femur bone and thanks to him, I’m back to living my normal life in less than 6 months. I highly recommend him to anyone that is experiencing difficulties with a broken bone.

I went to Mark Jo because the doctor that I wanted to see wasn't available. The receptionist suggested Mark Jo since he had availabilities. I took the appointment because I wanted to be seen as soon as possible but I quickly learned why he was available. The appointment was rushed and he didn't listen to my concerns. He didn't even inspect or touch my injury; he only looked at the X-Ray on the computer screen. I requested an MRI and a prescription for physical therapy, and he just didn't want to do it. He said MRIs aren't helpful and that I didn't need physical therapy. I insisted on the MRI because I wanted peace of mind. He replied that getting an MRI for peace of mind was "stupid." Can you imagine that? A doctor telling you that peace of mind is stupid? I went to a better doctor and the first thing he did was request an MRI and gave me a prescription for PT. I'm so glad I switched If you want peace of mind, don't go to this doctor because he clearly doesn't value it.
