I was able to get an appointment within 2 days. Dr. Johns, the nurses and staff are true "healthcare providers" , they hear what you're saying and Dr. Johns is very tentative and informative. I walk out of the office with full confidence in the team and the treatment plan. I definitely would recommend Dr. Johns to my family and friends.

Dr.Johns has been my cardiologist for 5 years. He is kind, listens and answers questions, checks up on patients by phone and is genuinely caring. He also has a great sense of humor , which I think we all need on occasion. I have complete faith and confidence in him.

Dr. Johns saw me after an emergency room visit to Johnston Willis hospitol. I apparently had a blood clot in my kidney and heart issues. Dr. Johns felt that this condition was brought on by my drinking,.I explained that I hadn't had a drink in several weeks and did not drink habitually. On his rounds while I was in the hospitol he repeatedly made mention of my alcohol use and that that was the cause of my issues. 3 weeks later im in a different hospital with 10% heart function, that was caused by a virus that had run its course. This doctor should retire from medicine, he has little interest in what his patient tells him and completely misdiagnosed my condition if he even bothered to look at or order the tests to find the real issues. I nearly lost my life because of this uncaring physician. Luckily I got a real doctor at a different hospitol. You'd be wise to do the same.

I am 67 years old and over my lifetime I have met a lot of doctors. Dr. Johns is by far the most empathetic, down to earth doctor I have ever met. For me, that is the second most important attribute a doctor can have. His academic and real-life experience, of course, come first and are stellar. He's the best.

I see that Dr. Johns has a number of very positive reviews on this page. Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite. My father is 63 years old, and we found that Dr. Johns was generally unwilling to listen or offer helpful guidance or treatment. When we report disturbing symptoms, he refuses to acknowledge and insists everything is "fantastic". His advice is "sell your family business and just do something else", to a 3rd generation farmer. I recommend Dr. Johns do something else.

My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Johns. We would not consider seeing another cardiologist. Dr. Johns is very thorough, respectful, down to earth and kind. His staff are excellent as well. My husband's serious heart issues are of course always in my thoughts. Knowing Dr. Johns is there for him lessens the worry for both of us. Do not hesitate to see Dr. Johns should you or yours need a cardiologist. They don't come any better.
