Very good Urologist!
First saw Dr Lyon in late 2022 with a badly enlarged prostate. My primary got me in without an appointment on an urgent basis (my kidneys were starting to fail). He got me catheterized and over the next few months evaluated me for cancer and bladder function culminating in a new procedure called Rezum. A year and half later my PSA is way down and my equipment is functioning great without any meds. He has a very pleasant manner and sense of humor. Highly recommended.

Caring and Considerate Doctor!
My husband has been a patient of Dr. Lyon for a while now. We had an issue where we needed to reach out after office hours, and dr Lyon responded quickly and was extremely helpful while being considerate, caring and respectful. During office visits he takes the time to answer any and all questions and concerns we had. The office staff is incredible and kind. Would recommend a million times over and over again to anyone looking for a doctor. God bless.

Dr. Lyon was good enough to take my 94 year old father in right away to help us avoid a 8 hour ER wait. Thank you so much.

Definitely Not
I had an appointment March 22nd with Dr. Mark Lyon. To say It was a disaster would be being nice. Things started off kind of weird with three physician assistants in the exam room at the same time. My blood was taken twice, once from each arm. (My left arm had a bruise a week later). The doctor finally comes in and introduces himself, asks me a couple questions, and then asks me to drop my pants. He was constantly interrupting and overtalking me when I tried to ask questions. I won't get into details here, but Dr. Lyons said he couldn't finish the exam, removed his gloves and was getting ready to leave while my pants were still down. I was in shock; the Dr. was in a hurry and couldn't be bothered to spend more than three minutes on the visit. This was the worst interaction I've EVER had with a physician.

Saved me from the emergency room
I had a reoccurring problem that always happened on the weekends and I would have to go to the emergency room. This time it happened on a Wednesday and I called Dr. Lyon's office to see if they could squeeze me in. I was pleased to receive a call back informing me that Dr. Lyon could see me in the afternoon. Dr. Lyon was able to resolve the problem in a short time and it saved me from a trip to the emergency room. Thank you Dr. Lyon and your staff.

Leaky Catheter
I saw Dr. Lyon on Wednesday morning. I had hip replacement surgery on Monday and during surgery I was catheterized with the catheter being removed before I went to the recovery room. Later that night I could not urinate and required catheterization again. Three nurses tried to insert the catheter multiple times, finally a urologist was able to insert it. I went home with the catheter which started leaking. I called to make an appt. and was told all Dr. were booked for surgery but was told to come to the office. I was surprised when Dr. Lyon was able to see me, explain the caused of leakage, (bladder spasms) drain my bladder and prescribe a medication. Thanks to Dr. Lyon interrupting his surgery schedule, I was spared at least six hours in the ER, given instructions in catheter care and a follow up appt. All of this occurred over a two hour time frame which I did not expect as I had no appointment. Thank you Dr. Lyon and your staff.

I was very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Lyon. He removed my large kidney stone with just one procedure. Because of the size of the stone and my condition, I was told that it might take a few times to remove it. He was able to do it in one setting. He also did a great job removing my stent. Very professional and engaging.

First of all, I want to apologize to patients that had telephonic appointments cancelled last week when my son had his second bout of kidney stones resulting in emergency surgical intervention by Dr. Lyon. He prioritized my son's care and we are eternally grateful. He takes his time with his patients explaining everything and offers the time they need for questions. I highly recommend Dr. Lyon.

Dear Dr. Lyon, As I suffered from a urological problem last week , and was in need of immediate care, you had the willingness and professionalism to see me that morning at the request of my primary care physician. You gave me instant relief and for that I will be forever in your debt. Your professional credentials speak for themself. Your most personal trait is your caring attitude towards patients in need of immediate help. I am very appreciative of your help and am thrilled that you have accepted me as your patient.

Never in my 78 years of health care providers have I ever had a provider as warm and comforting as Dr. Mark Lyon. I first met Dr. Lyon after spending a good bit of time in Christ Hospital being treated for a heart condition and frequent urinary tract infections. From the first visit to Dr. Lyon's office, I knew I had found someone who truly cared for my comfort and success in treating my condition. I have had occasion to visit Dr. Lyon's offices over the past two years. Each visit is anticipated without fear or anxiety. Dr. Lyon and his friendly, helpful staff have always been helpful and efficient.

About a week ago I was in the emergency room for a kidney stone. I had to have it Surgically removed. Dr. Lyon was the surgeon who removed my large kidney stone. What a great doctor. He explained everything to me and made sure and answered all of my questions. He put me at easy before the surgery. Today I went to see Dr. Lyon for a follow up and to schedule another surgery for another kidney stone. He took his time and explained and answered every question. I would highly recommend Dr. Lyon. I have all the confidence in him that the next surgery will go as well as the last one.

Took my brother to see Dr. Lyon after seeing a different urologist that I was not happy with. This visit was totally different. Dr. Lyon engaged my brother, listened to him, talked to me (I have medical poa for my brother). I felt the difference the minute we walked in. All of the staff were involved with the patients in very caring way. Totally recommend Dr. Lyon and his staff.

Dr. Lyon has been taking care of me for the past year to treat kidney stones and enlarged prostate. He always explains everything in detail and answers questions without rushing. I had the Rezum procedure and it went just like Dr. Lyon explained. There was little to no pain and I feel great. The office staff is very nice & personable. The whole practice is a Class Act Star Rating! Thank you Dr. Lyon you made a difference in my life. I appreciate what you do.

I was referred to Dr Lyon, by my GP, for issues related to an enlarged prostate and elevated PSA levels...after a q&a session, Dr Lyon prescribed a course of action, involving additional testing and finally, suggesting two options...one was medication, the other surgery...I chose the surgery alternative, which after having Dr Lyon perform the surgery over a month ago...I am thankful that I did...game/life changer. Dr Lyon, prior to my surgical choice, provided me with as much information as I was able to absorb and he answered my questions and provided added discussion that I was able to digest and understand. Additionally, his entire staff was absolutely empathetic and hospitable while in office as well as when visited by Kelly Dugan, an associate of Dr Lyon...again, outstanding. Dr Lyon and his entire staff are off the charts OUTSTANDING, in all they do and say...Class acts...going to Dr Lyon was the best decision I've made in years...wish I had only gone sooner.

I have been seeing Dr. Lyon for about 18 months. About 16 months ago Dr. Lyon performed a urolift procedure on me. I must say that was one of the best decision I have ever made in my life. Dr. Lyon had initially been treating me for BPH. After 2 months of medication monitoring, with no positive results, Dr. Lyon proposed the Urolift Procedure as an option. I did all the preliminary testing and was approved. Before the surgery, Dr. Lyon took the time to explain everything that I would go through. The procedure was not uncomfortable, nor did it take long. The results have exceeded my expectations. I cannot thank Dr. Lyon enough for how he has improved my quality of life.

Dr. Lyons is the hat trick of excellence: thorough, professional, and compassionate. After a diagnosis of prostate cancer, which came as a shock, he spent time discussing treatment options with my wife and me, making time to address questions and never rushing us out of the office. He treats you like a family member, and we trust his expertise and guidance. My wife and I are thankful to have him in our corner on this journey.
