Dr. Power’s is THE best. Not only did he develop procedure, he took the time to thoroughly explain which helped reduce my anxiety. Would highly recommend Dr. Power’s. Also, his staff in Stuart is terrific.

Top of his field.
Dr. Powers performed two total knee replacements; first one was June 2023 and second one was in December of 2023. He performed these knee replacement utilizing the Mako robotics system and a process he called muscle sparing. The muscle sparing process is very important because it shortens up the recovery time and minimizes post surgery pain. Dr Powers prescribed pain pills for me for both my knee replacements, however, I never had to take a single pill . Also , I was out of therapy in less than 2 weeks.I just had my 1-year follow-up visit for my December surgery and everything was perfect. As I explained to Dr Powers durning the visit that I just climbed the Jupiter Lighthouse to the top without issues.For reference I'm a 70 year old male.

Great doc, long waiting time.
I had gone once and got right in. Next visit was to review MRI results. Took 2.5 hours to get into an exam room and another 30 to be seen by the doctor. I am on my way for a knee replacement in the next few years and Dr. Powers is the best around so I feel like I need to put up with the wait but still feel disrespected by it.
