This man said my brain was "normal" so I got a second opinion from an experienced radiologist. I had a hunch this man was totally off in his reading and I was correct! 2nd opinion doctor found both hypo and hyper metabolism in my brain and used prior brain scans to confirm finding. I'm so grateful I got a second opinion!!! Listen to your symptoms and inner voice. Get a second opinion.

Dr. Schecter may have technical skill but his patient skills are poor. Rather than help a 16 year-old patient reduce anxiety about having 2 8"+ needles inserted deeply into tender breast tissue to hook onto masses within her breast (wouldn't most people feel anxious about such a procedure?) he was dismissive and impatient. He also told us there was no topical anesthetic available (at a surgery center?) to help alleviate some of the pain. We asked him to discontinue treatment after needle #1.
