Dr. Schmidt and April have taken such good care of me for the past 12 years — After a cancer diagnosis, I required a couple of surgeries, a few office procedures and several-times-a-year follow-ups that are now 1 or 2x per year. Along with absolutely excellent care, they have put me at ease and made me smile - even on days I was most fearful. The office staff is also always friendly and helpful, whether in person or on the phone. My husband has been a patient here for a very long time as well. We are so grateful for this practice.

DR. Schmidt is one of the nicest doctors I have ever seen. If you have any issue, he will go far and beyond to help you and with a smile. you are never rushed out of his office, and he is knowledgeable and well informed about cutting edge technology. Cancelled one week before appointment that was set some 10 months ago. Office staff is uncaring, does not return phone calls. I expect better care and will find it. Move on from this one doctor and practice.

Only saw my husband before the surgery he never even scheduled a follow up with him. My husband is still suffering from the surgery a month later.

The customer service at the doctors office is terrible. Each time that I call I can get no 1 to answer. I leave them a message to call me and they will not call. Please fix this problem.

Can’t say enough about Dr Schmidt. He is extremely caring and personable. He makes you feel comfortable and explains things in in simple details. Also, his staff is friendly and also gets 5 stars. I highly recommend Dr. Schmidt and Jefferson Surgical Center.

First visit for consultation due to increasing PSA blood test value and kidney stones in past few months. After telling Dr Schmidt that after digital exams over the past 40 + years that I had extreme pain and difficulty having BM's for days, I asked if my exam could use a different method of assessment. Also by his admission this exam does not confirm or eliminate any diagnosis of illness of prostrate, He responded by telling me that if I didn't summit to his digital exam that I could just leave and find another Urologist for treatment. I found his attitude very Rude and Unprofessional! Yes I left and will not return or recommend anyone to use his services.

Bad experience.

Dr. Schmidt is a great Urologist. His sense of humor puts you at ease when you first arrive at his office. He is very easy to talk to, and relieves any tensions you may have. He explains all diagnoses to the fullest and is proactive in his treatments. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is in need of his services. Great Doctor.
