Dr. Silver did not want to go straight to surgery! I so appreciate that. He was so nice and helpful. He made me feel so hopeful.

Surgery turned out well. Post surgery HORRIBLE.
I get it. They begged us for a good review too. If you are told major back surgery is a day procedure, wheel your chair out of there as fast as you can go. They sent us 30 miles up the road without the promised back brace for beginners; and expected her to waltz back into the office two days later to get the drain tube removed. It was a modern Halloween story.

Back pain - L3,L4 & L5 and pressure on the sciatic
My back pain was so bad and had been getting worse for the last 6 months. I had no option- surgery was the end of the road. Trinity Health Solutions recommended Dr. Silver. I’m so very grateful they did. He is wonderful, professional and had the patience to answer all of my questions. I followed all of his instructions. I woke up from surgery with very little discomfort. His staff were amazing and very patience. If I do need help in the future - I will be calling Dr. Silver immediately without fear. He is amazing. Thank you for giving me back my life without pain.

Dr. Silver is a godsend. No neck or arm pain after day surgery. Don’t hesitate, don’t live in pain, I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to be pain-free and off pain meds. I wish I had done it sooner. Thanks Dr. Silver

Dr Silver is a remarkable surgeon that I would recommend to anyone who needs a neurosurgeon. However, his office staff are absolutely incompetent! The people he has at central scheduling are almost impossible to understand, and are clueless about what is happening. They (office staff) wait until the last possible minute to get preauthorizations from insurance companies, when Dr Silver requests to modify the authorizations a week before hand. They have no idea how that effects his patients lives nor do they care. When you the patient has to spend hours the day before surgery on the phone with your insurance to get the authorization is ridiculous. Until changes are made with the office and central scheduling staff I would think very hard about wether or not to seek another surgeon. As I said Dr. Silver is a brilliant and excellent surgeon who I absolutely trust with any procedure, his office staff and scheduling are a major downfall to his practice and cause disservice to his patients.
