Dr. Souweidane‘s knowledge, experience, and thoroughness was very comforting and second to none in the face of a serious surgery. I immediately knew i was in the best hands possible. The surgery was performed successfully with no ill side effects thus far.

Dr. Souweidane has been such a bright spot on the topic of my son's rare and difficult diagnosis that we surprisingly discovered about a year ago. His staff is responsive, knowledgeable, and dedicated. I can't say enough about the talent and demeanor of the doctor himself, truly a gift to those in need of his surgical skill. I would highly recommend seeking him for treatment or a second opinion. You won't regret it.

I went to see him with and about my 'Special Needs' son. He was great with him and me. Personable and easy to understand. He even drew a diagram of the proposed procedure. While laying out or options and detailing the steps along with the surgery he made it clear up front and throughout that ultimately the decision is ours. If go to him and recommend him again and again.

He took his time to explain the condition and his recommendations. He presented his expertise in a professional way. Parents can feel at ease with him.

Diagnosed with a colloid cyst. Dr. Souweidane was very thorough with explaining my diagnosis and made sure I understood it. He listened to my questions and never made me feel rushed. By the end of my visit, I was well informed and at ease.

Our son at 22 was diagnosed with a colloid cyst. At first we looked locally at MGH, a world renouned hospital. It took us several weeks even to get an appointment with a neurosurgeon. Upon researching we found Dr. Souweidane. He called us back within 2 days and we had a brief phone conversation. At MGH we were offered an open craniotomy and Dr.Souweidane was confident he could do the surgery endoscopically. We headed to NYC from Boston and had the surgery. Glad to say he sailed through successfully with no neurological deficits which was his greatest concern because he is a premed student with 4.0 GPA. We were so relieved and would recommend this surgeon to anyone who has this diagnosis.

Let me start by saying Dr. Mark Souweidane saved my life. Not to bee too dramatic, but he did. I had a rare colloid cyst. My symptoms seemed to come out of nowhere, headaches, anxiety, high blood pressure and tinnitus. I knew this was the beginning of the end for me. I am from the Midwest and there are great surgeons around me but I wasn't feeling confident with their approach. I found Dr. Souweidane online, set up a video conference and his approach (endoscopic), demeanor, and past results convinced me to move forward. Throughout the whole process from arriving at the hospital to post operation, I never felt anything but confident that this was the right decision. I had my surgery 2/15/22 and just had my 1-year follow up MRI. No regrowth and I am back to normal. In fact, the symptoms that brought me to surgery began to dissipate as soon as I opened my eyes on the operating table. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Souweidane and his team. I will be forever grateful.

Dr.Souweidane is the best and highly skilled surgeon. He has done all of my surgeries since I was born and I feel completely safe with him and his amazing team. He explains everything in details so that you can fully understand.

I travelled cross country for my colloid cyst resection. We discussed my case over the phone and then Dr S’s team made all the arrangements. I found Dr S very personable, knowledgeable, confident and detailed. I am now 1 day post-op of an uneventful surgical endoscopy to remove the cyst. I am pretty much asymptomatic. I would highly recommend Dr S to any patient needing neurosurgical or endoscopic neurosurgical care.

We reached out for a second opinion. When we first met, he immediately recognized my daughters name from the tri-state tumor boards. I know we weren’t “just patients “ because the follow day he reviewed her MRI images AGAIN. The next day his nurse called me and recommended other testings. I am very grateful for that visit, Dr. Soudeiwane truly doesn’t leave a stone unturned. I am touched by his intuition , concern and visual prowess in my daughters case.

Dr. Souweidane executed his surgical plan perfectly, and his team was incredibly helpful in the lead up to surgery. Specifically, they guided me through the process of getting insurance coverage despite his being out of network. I paid only the $400 co-pay!
