I am a paraplegic and use Dr Stampfl as my PCP. I have been paralyzed since 2008 and was prescribed methadone due to needing long term pain management. Yesterday I had an apt. with my pain mgmt. Dr., Dr Khan who had to leave the country due to a family emergency. I was directed by Dr. Khan's office to use my primary for medication until he returns to the country. I was refused care by Dr. Stampfl and sent to LRMC ER where I received 10 15 mg oxyCODONE. Treated like a junkie, very disheartened!

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Stampfl for about 5 months since our previous Dr. retired and we have found him to be excellent in all aspects. He listens to our comments and questions, and responds with understandable answers. His staff is likewise courteous and friendly. Waiting time is usually short, both in the waiting room and especially so in the examining room.
